I Will Kill You

"He touched you?" Aldric sniffed the air, his eyes flashing red as she approached him. Islinda intentionally ignored his tantrum because she had nothing to say to him, but that only seemed to provoke him further.

"Does Aldre think having the protection of the royal family means I'm not going to keep up my promise of killing him if he dares to—"

"Alright, you hot-tempered bullhead, hold it right there." Islinda stepped in his way when he tried to stride past her.

"Andre did not touch me."

He scrunched his nose and sniffed her, his eyes flashing as he accused her, "You lie!"

"Well, unfortunately for you and fortunately for me, Andre did not touch me. I was the one who hugged him." She added, "And for the love of the gods, could you stop sniffing me out like some animal? It's quite creepy."
