The Fae eventually healed her, but the session was as awkward and tense as hell. No, Islinda couldn't be happier when it was all over. She felt pity for the Fae though, choosing to put herself in her shoes. If anyone hurt Eli and forced her into healing his date, she would be furious. But just like the smart female Fae, she too wanted to live.
It was moments like this that Islinda didn't know whether to applaud or scold Eli. Sure, he did a very good job but his disregard for others' lives was troubling.
It seemed romantic because he seemed to hold affection for her, but what if all this changes and she's at the receiving end of his anger? Would he care if she lived or died? Or would he end her with his own hand as he claimed to have done to his first love?
