The days went on. Me, Azula, and Zuko continued to train. On the 7th day Azula completed her awaking, due to this I had began teaching her manifestation as well as giving her advice on how to purify her body to increase the speed and stability at which chi travels the body.

On the 15th day Azula successfully managed to materialise fire, and let's just say she was ecstatic about it. So much so that the entire palace found out she could now fire bend. Most believed she had a rare natural awaking, although she would have had one in a year or two due to the level of affinity with fire she possessed. Another thing was Zuko completed his awaking progress as well however this wasn't known throughout the place as he was deemed Inferior to his twin sister.

My training has also progressed during those 15 days. I was able to raise fire bending to level 2 and almost level 3 My flames became considerably hotter then before around 550 degrees Celsius. I've also Learned a few more combat techniques and can be considered an apprentice level bender just barely however.

During this time I could see that Zuko was a little disheartened as both me and his sister had beaten the records for completing the awaking. Seeing this I did inform him that he has a higher potential than lord azulon, uncle Ozai and my father. Since their times were recorded at around a month.

And so days continue to pass on the 24th day Zuko succeeded in his manifestation. This was much quicker then I thought however zuko was still disappointed by the time it took to catch up to me and Azula but he was also proud and ecstatic that his hard work to begin his journey onto the path of fire bending paid off.

Over the next five days Zuko with my help progressed very quickly and was able to enter the higher end of novice level fire bending which the system states is level 2. Azula on the other hand managed to on the cusp of breaking into level 4. I myself had already done so and was rapidly approaching level 5.

Currently it was the 30th day and the last day before the new month began. Although my mastery of fire was increasing steadily and well. I was only able to grasp the basics of combat with bending. My skill which I wished for had no correlation to combat only learning the abilities. I could go on the path of basics and just overwhelm with force or temperature but trufully I wanted control and flashy techniques.

When thinking about this I couldn't think of a better teacher than my adoptive father Iroh, however the problem was that he was conquering Ba Sing Se and wouldn't return until the death of his son. This posed a problem, one that was hard yet simple to solve.

'Hey system show me my status as well as the twins'. Activating my system I couldn't wait to see the progress of both me and Azula, oh yeah and zuko.

Looking at how our status have changed in over a month I couldn't help but be amazed. Although we could create and manipulate fire we would most likely lose to any fire bender of the same level due to lack of combat experience but still progress was progress.

Looking around my surprisingly empty court yard once again I decided to take a nap. Unsurprisingly it was one of my favourite things to do, napping in the suns rays was very therapeutic now and I could only blame sunshine for it. Time passed and eventually I was awoke yet again but not by a hard kick but by a gentle shake on my shoulders.

Opening my eyes and seeing who it was I couldn't help but make a snarky comment " Azula, didn't know you had a gentle bone in your body. I was expecting the usual kick" at this I received the usual scoff but this time a similar smile to the one I wore trenched her face. " don't worry Mael from now on I'll wake up with a kick every time."

Looking at what I caused I couldn't help but mentally sigh, I did bring this upon myself. Looking back at her she should could tell I wanted to know why she was here " come on, really? it's dinner time get moving or we'll be late" was all she said and she started kicking me to hurry up.

Walking through the hall I couldn't help but think of how different my two lives where. In one I was unimportant and had nothing to me, be here I was a prince, a talented fire bender and could potentially change the fate of the world

Just after I finished reading the information we arrived at the door to the great hall entering behind Azula as my position was lower then hers we took out seats. Even though I was opposite Azula in the eyes of uncle and grandfather we where not equal.

During the meal at the correct time as etiquette dictates I made my request of grandfather the current fire lord.

" fire lord Azulon, may I speak." With even turning to me he reply's " speak freely" clearing my throat I make my request " recently I've hit a road block in my training, I was wondering if a teacher could be arranged for me, please?" After finishing what I had to say I was ready for his answer. However uncle wasn't to please. " boy you dare to make requests of the fire lord, you shouldn't even be in this hall let alone family"

Knowing what could happen if I answered I chose not to and waited for Azulons response which came shortly after " very well boy go to the royal training ground tomorrow someone will be waiting for you. Azula, Zuko you will also join. I am aware that mael has help you train and guided you from his experience but a trainer is needed so you will join him " as if on cue, the three of us answered " yes fire lord"

Promptly after the fire lord left and by order of the royal hierarchy we left. I being last.
