Regarding titles,

the author has simplified their hierarchy of authority, with only four main titles: KING, DUKE, EARL, VISCOUNT , COUNT and BARON.

I like this better as it streamlines the story's structure and allows the reader to easily understand the shenanigans at play within the story .

As for LORD title ,it will be only used sometimes just to show respect or make the story flow smooth.
