"Looks like trouble. Want me to take over your body and take him out?" Lucifer asked as he noticed how the man had taken little to no damage.
"Don't worry about it. I've always wanted an opponent which could actually pose a threat to me," said Arthur as he pulled out his most treasured blade from his spacial storage area. That being Excalibur.
Having his blade in hand, Arthur began to quickly slash at the air which caused many aura blades to appear which Arthur snapped his fingers and caused them to split into an uncountable number of pieces which he commanded to attack the old man.
What followed was a painful scream from the old man as he didn't expect the blade auras to contain so much power.
"What the hell was that? You shouldn't be even close to as powerful as this," said the man as he walked out of the smoke to have several cuts all across his body.
"I see, so it's that blade you're holding," said the old man as he quickly teleported in front of Arthur and snatched the blade away from him.
"Now-" said the man as he prepared to use the blade for himself however it reverted back to its old form right as he touched him to which Arthur simply commanded the blade to return to him which it did as if it was getting forcibly dragged out of the old man's hand and back to Arthur's.
Just as the blade made contact with its rightful owner, it activated once again as it took on its majestic form.
"Whatever. It's not like I need some random blade to defeat some kid," said the old man before coming in close to Arthur and kicked him in the chest which caused him to fly off elsewhere.
"Are you sure you don't want me to take over? I mean he's beating you pretty badly," said Lucifer to which Arthur refused again.
"Just give me a second," said Arthur and for the next 10 minutes, he got hit multiple times with kicks and punches that were stronger than anything that he could have imagined. Paired with the fact that he had no equipment on, Arthur was like a baby getting beat up by a grown man.
"Give it up Arthur. This is a battle out of your class. Just come with me and I won't be forced to knock you out cold," said the old man to which even though Arthur was bleeding form his nose and mouth and had suffered multiple severe attacks to his internal organs, he managed to give back a serious reply to the old man.
"N-No. I won't give up until I'm dead," said Arthur to which the old man let out a sigh before preparing to teleport to Arthur one more time.
"Goodnight Arthur," said the old man as he prepared to knock Arthur out however just as he threw the final punch, Arthur let out a smirk before dodging the attack as if it was nothing.
"Huh? Did he just avoid that as if it was an attack from a mere amateur? No, that's not possible. He's probably playing tricks on me," said the old man before punching at Arthur once again to which Arthur dodged without seeming to have wasted any effort.
"But how?! This shouldn't be possible," the old man yelled out as he just started to punch and kick at Arthur as fast and hard as he possibly could however not even a single one of those attacks landed on Arthur.
"Hey Lucifer, can you return my body back to its peak form," said Arthur to which Lucifer simply smirked before healing Arthur while he leapt in the air backwards to dodge another attack by the old man.
"How? How are you able to do this?" the old man asked to which Arthur had the perfect reply.
"Just a party trick," said Arthur as he remembered the time that the old man called his speechless spells nothing more than cheap tricks.
"Now old man, let's see just how good your defence is going to be against a full force attack from my blade," said Arthur as he was the one to teleport to the old man as he brought his blade over the head of the old man before beginning to bring it down so that he could slice the old man vertically in half.
"Tier 9 Spell: Eternal Push"
The old man tried to cast a spell yo push Arthur away however Lucifer had his back as he used his techniques from hell to completely negate the spell that the old man had used to try to push away Arthur.
"Please let me live. I didn't do anything wrong. I was just going as I was told. Please have mercy on me. I have a wife and kids that I need to go back to," said the old man to which Arthur began to laugh.
"Nice try but I'm not going to believe that some old geezer like you has children to tend to at this age. Even if you did, it's not like I care. You tried to kill me so it's only fair that I do the same thing. Don't you agree," said Arthur with a smirk as he brought his blade down and finished the job that he needed to do.
In the battle between Arthur and the member of the council of sorcery, Arthur won.
"Thank you for the back up Lucifer. That spell might have caused the battle to continue for far longer than it should have," said Arthur.
"Don't worry about it. It works in both our favours so you don't owe me anything," said Lucifer to which Arthur smiled as he was getting used to Lucifer's attitude before finally taking the step he needed to. That being to go inside the dungeon and battle his heart out until he learned to release his dimension expansion.
Although the average gate was supposed to be blue, the one that Arthur had walked into was a green gate. .Arthur hard heard of a red and blue gate but never a green one however he didn't think much of it However, Lucifer knew what it meant and Arthur didn't and he would learn first hand what a green gate was like.
