I saw him

With no intent to listen to whatever Xander had to say, Dav ran out of the forest with hurried speed. He knew Gabriel was close by. He couldn't have gone far.

In mere seconds, Dav was out of the forest and his suspicions were right. There, in a fat distance, Dav took a glimpse of a tiny masculine figure which he had immediately identified as Gabriel. With no second thought, he made a long leap with the intention of getting closer to Gabriel. 

But Gabriel was no fool. He can't possibly let Dav get to him, which could only mean that Dav will finally get the chance to see Eliza. Without hesitation, Gabriel also made a long leap away from Dav, and this time, he was faster.

In a matter of moments, this turned into a game of chase, at least, not until Gabriel led Dav to where he had trapped Eliza.

Realizing the situation that he had found himself in, Gabriel got into the invisible bubble in a rush. There, he saw Eliza seated on the dry sand.
