I looked at the ape. Yeah an actual ape. I blinked at this male. "And?" What little happiness I had found today was turning to ash in my mouth.

"What?" The male questioned. His face revealed the same shock of so many other males on Earth. That I would question an order he had given me.

"And what makes you think that just because you look like that you would be a better mate for me? Hmmm," I had never had to do this with the other alien males. Had never needed to act like the Royal I had been raised to be. My back straightening. My face hardened into the look you may give a boring meal. Which is what this male was.

"I am strong. I can provide you with many offspring. My people eat fruits. I am closer with your people and anyone else here. I am the clear choice for your mate."
