"can you be my girlfriend?"

I was too stunned to speak but I tried to clear my mind and try to reconfirm whether what I hear was correct or not. Then I ask again "what?" He clears his throat and say again "I want you to act as my girlfriend for my family dinner, that's all and you are free." How can he have said something like this as it was nothing.

Lucas: "I know it's hard for you but please I really need your help and I have no choice I just couldn't bring my current girlfriend to the dinner"

Me:" Hmm, I think it is rude for me to lie to your parents and we just met each other today, how can I meet your parents like that"

Lucas: "We just have to act for that one day and after that I'll figure out on how to tell my parents like we argue on breakup or anything, so please can you?"

Me: "Maybe but I must think first. Oh, yeaa when is the dinner?"

Lucas:" This Sunday!"

Me:" WHATT, THAT'S JUST ABOUT ANOTHER 2 DAYS...Waittt This Sunday I'm working!"

Lucas:" But you owe me!"

Me:" But I don't have to pay you back in this way, I can just pay you back for your shirt"

Lucas:" Do you think you can afford to pay back my shirt, its around 20k can you?"

Me:" What that's too expensive, is that shirt cost this much?"

Lucas:" yes of course, I don't used cheap shirt cause i have my standard"

Looking at him, he does look like wealthy person since his car itself looks sporty and expensive. I don't have that much to pay him back, maybe I should just follow his order just for one day it won't cost that much, I guess. Arghh why it's so hard for me to make decisions. I wish I could just run away from all of this, no no no run Away couldn't solve the problem I need to face it strongly. I can do this, yes, I will do this!

Lucas:" Hey are you okay? I have been calling you three times, but you didn't respond."

Me:" Yes, I'm okay and I will follow you this Sunday night"

Lucas:" That's good then I'll see you this Sunday at 6pm please wear something nice."

Me:" Can it be 7pm I'm working until 6pm then I want to change my clothes, please."

Lucas:" Hmm, okay then 7pm."

Me:" Tell me the location and is there any dress code?"

Lucas:" Sokay I'll pick you up at the mall and for the dress code you have to wear black dress."

Me:" Okay then I will get going first"

After I goes I to my house I was thinking whether whatever I'm doing now is it right? Why does it seem wrong to me? I don't want to do this, but I have to if not I have to pay him and I have to save my money. Sokay I should just sleep and think about this later on since I have class early in the morning tomorrow.

*Time Skip

After I finish my study group session I went to work as usual and thank god my supervisor let me go 30 minutes early this sunday so I have time to get ready even though I'm not going back to my house to get ready since I'm lazy to walk back to my house it just tiring so I'll just bring my things over there and change. After a tiring day I went back home to see the house is messy again, I was too tired so I just ignored when into my room to get changed and have a quick shower then I tried to find for suitable black dress but it looks like I don't really have a nice one. Since it's not really important event for me I'll just recycle whatever, I have I don't want to waste my money on nasty things. After I keep all of my things in a bag I just went to sleep right away.

*Sunday Morning

I woke up early since I am working so I went to take shower then I walk to my working place then suddenly my phone rang.

Me:" Hello, who is this?"

Lucas:" Well you know who I am"

Me:" Ohh you, why you call me so early? Does the dinner cancel?" I ask excitedly since that's what I'm hoping for.

Lucas:" cancel in your dream. I just call to remind you don't forget what we have today. I'll be there 6pm sharp!"

Me:" Yaa I know " Then he just hung up on me, but I do not really care, and I don't have any reasons to care about him.

Around 5.30 I went to the toilet to get change and to do my simple makeup. After I almost done, he texts me saying that he is already here, so I went to take my bag at my working place then they tease me saying that I'm going for a date. Yea I am close with my colleagues they are like my sisters, but I didn't mention about this fake girlfriend thingy to them, they gonna tease me if said this. After bid goodbye to them I went downstairs to find him waiting there.

Lucas:" So late huh!" I look at my watch it's just 6.01pm

Me:" Yea sorry for the 1 min late" I said that sarcastically he just glares at me.

After we arrived, I ask him where we are then he said that is his house. It looks like a mansion, but I snap my thoughts away and walk with him besides. Looks like there is a lot of people and I'm really shy cause I have never been somewhere like this and i don't know anyone here.

Me:" Yaaa I'm scared what am I suppose to do here and I don't know anyone here, help me"

Lucas: "Just follow me everywhere I go and don't forget you are my girlfriend now so act like one" he raised his arm sign me to put my hand around his arm and we walk inside together.

Lucas:" There is my parents, we should go say hi to them" he point his parents to me and i just nodded. After we went near them Lucas bid them politely.

Lucas: "Hi Mama and Papa... This is... my girlfriend" then his parents turn to our side then his mother looks familiar to me but wait who is she... shitt

Lucas Mom:" Heyy Jenny . I have never thought you going to he my sons girlfriend"

Me:" Oh my god Hii Madam, i have no idea you are his mother"

How can my lecturer turn into his mother. This is so embarrassing, why in the hell I accept to all of this. I'm regretting it now, please someone just kill me here.
