Ch. 44 Part 1

In the capital city somewhere, immortal Pei who was pacing forth and back anxiously with anxiety, waiting for news from the dead guards and disciples he sent to find the treasure. Suddenly felt a fluctuation from one of his puppets. He felt the control he had over the puppet shaken, as the puppet tried fighting for control from him. 

Immortal Pei turned red from anger, he quickly with his all fought hard and took back the control. But his heart was filled with uneasiness. He felt as if things weren't in his control and a force blocking his path to success. This was the first time he has ever felt this way.

"You there! You there! You there!" 

He yelled like a madman, throwing away the elegance and calm look, leaving a distorted appearance.

"Master!" a figure appeared.

"Send more disciples and guards to have a look! I feel something is wrong, you know, just send everyone!" he ordered feeling jumpy and tensed.
