"Come with me. There's something I need to tell you." She took him to her office.

"So, what do you need to tell me?"

"You need to sit down for this," He sat down next to her on the couch.

"Are you pregnant?"

"No."

"Then what is it?"

"I need you to keep an open mind. Remember when I confessed to your parents, and I said I'd explain something to you?"

"Yeah. Don't tell me that we're related."

"No, and wait until I'm done explaining before you ask questions. I don't even know where to start with this. So... uh...your dad is a werewolf. Yes, you're supposed to be a hybrid, but here's the thing, he never marked your mom. Her egg cells only had human DNA, and because your dad didn't mark her, you, Sora and Toshi were born human. With me, it doesn't matter whether I marked you or not because mine have wolf DNA, so either way, our kids will be hybrid. He left her office before she could finish.

When he came back, it was past midnight.

"There's no need to sneak in."

"I thought you'd be asleep."

"How do you expect me to sleep after you practically disappeared for the entire day without saying anything? Are you ok?"

"Yeah, I just needed time to process everything. Sorry if it looked like I was avoiding you." He sat on the bed.

"Don't worry about it, I get it."

"Why didn't they tell me?"

"They were going to just like with Sora, but your dad figured that you might not take it well, so he asked me to do it."

"It would've been better if you told me you were pregnant."

She wrapped her arms around his neck.

"I know it's a lot to take in, but it doesn't change how I feel about you. Although it does explain your overly possessive nature, it's not the point I'm trying to make," She gave him a peck on the cheek. "I actually rubbed it in the pack elders' faces that you're actually of Alpha descent and a previous Beta's son."

"Oh?"

"Yeah. Before I forget."

She flicked his forehead.

"That was for saying that I'm too much to handle."

"I never said that."

"That's what you think."

He moved her to his lap.

"I love you."

"I know."
