"I know I'm attractive and all but are you that eager to sleep with me?" Takumi asked.
"Funny but no. You're sleeping on the couch." She handed him a pillow and blanket.
"Are you seriously kicking me out of my own room?"
"Well, I'm sure as hell not sleeping in the same bed as you in this form, I can't shift into a wolf after being stuck that way for so long, and you seem like a gentleman."
"Fair point. But you can't be serious, right?"
That night Takumi found himself on the couch tossing and turning in his sleep. He couldn't get comfortable. He had enough of this and got up. Without being aware of it, his legs carried him to his room. He got into bed and was finally able to sleep comfortably.
The next morning Twilight woke up with her face buried in Takumi's chest, his arms wrapped around her and their legs tangled together. She kicked him off the bed, her foot was inches above from almost destroying his manhood. Takumi woke up on the floor with a sharp pain in his stomach. He looked up and found what might have been the devil's offspring (for that monstrous kick) glaring at him.
"What?" He asked.
"I told you that I'm not sleeping in the same bed as you."
"Relax, it was an accident. I just sleepwalked is all. The couch wasn't that comfortable, you know."
"Fine. Let's pretend I believe you so we can move on with our lives."
Later that evening, Takumi came back a little later than usual and found Twilight cooking. "I feel like I found myself a wife."
"What a great sense of humour you have," She sarcastically remarked.
After dinner, Takumi helped Twilight clean up.
"By the way, where did you learn how to cook?"
"Why, got a problem?" It sounded more like a threat than a question.
"No, it's delicious. Honest. That's why I want to know and because you don't seem like the type to be good at it."
"It's a long story, and I don't want to bore you with the details."
"Is there anything about yourself that you will tell me?
"A few, at least for now. Remember, we kinda just met, so we're strangers at best."
"Will you tell me more if we move from strangers to acquaintances?"
"Most likely. That reminds me, why are you being so nice to me when you don't know me? I mean, being nice to a stranger is fine and all, but you're taking it to a whole new level. For all you know, I could be a serial killer. And if you're expecting sexual favours in return, I'll make this clear by saying I'm not going to do any of that."
"First of all, if you were a serial killer, you wouldn't have said you could be one. And I'd already be dead because you had countless opportunities to finish me. Second, that's not it all. You could say that I've taken a liking to you. If you asked me why, I wouldn't have an answer. But let me go with: I'm enjoying your company."
"I see. Anyway, where were you today?"
"Sounds like Mrs Rengoku was worried," She glared at him. "Just kidding, I just went to check some stuff out."
"Is there a special lady friend that I should know about?" She smirked at him.
"Nope. I haven't had a girlfriend before."
"With your looks, I find that hard to believe."
"So, you admit that I am attractive?"
"I'm not going to boost your ego," She playfully punched his arm.
"Ouch, my self-esteem."
"Got 'em." She snorted.
"Have you ever had a boyfriend?"
"No. But it's not like all the guys were queuing up to date a girl who could kill you with one blow, I'm pretty sure I even intimidated a few of them. Besides even if I didn't, it's not like they'd go for an independent warrior she-wolf, I'm sure they preferred more feminine girls."
"So, you've also never dated?" He smirked at her.
"Hey, at least my reasons are ... reasonable. What's your excuse?"
"Well, all the girls I've met seem nice and all, I'll admit that some were cute, but I'm not interested..." He stopped when he saw the look of realization on her face. "Whoa, hold on, it's not what you think. I'm not gay. It's just hard for me to find someone who likes me for me, and not my looks or status. So, in a way, they're not my type."
"Just to be clear, I don't find anything wrong with being part of the LGBTQIA+ community. So, what is your type then?"
"Well..." He moved toward her. "Silvery hair..." He looked deep into her eyes. "Turquoise eyes..." He kept moving toward her, and she started backing up. "Between 4'9 and 4'11..." her back collided with the wall, and she couldn't back up further. He leaned in front of her against the wall using one hand. His 6'1 self easily towered over her. She looked down to avoid his gaze, but he used his other hand to lift her chin so her eyes would meet his. "And is a hard-headed tough cookie."
A cute and uncontrollable shade of pink made its way to her ears. After seeing that, Takumi could no longer hold himself back. He leaned in closer to her neck, tilted her head a little for more access and began to plant kisses on it.
At first, he started with faint kisses and slowly made his way up to firmer kisses. Twilight tried as best as she could to not moan, but when he reached a certain spot, a loud moan escaped from her. She felt Takumi smirking,
"Now I know," he murmured into her neck.
He continued to kiss that spot. He then picked her up, and she wrapped her legs around his waist and arms around his neck. He started sucking and nibbling on it, taking his sweet time. This time Twilight moaned even louder. She threw her hands over her mouth in embarrassment, not believing the sound she just made. Satisfied with his work, he gave her a head pat.
"What was that for?" She asked still blushing.
"Wasn't I clear enough?" He gently kissed her forehead.
She looked into his eyes for some clarity, and he just smirked. She knew exactly what he was talking about. She wanted to tell him she didn't feel the same way, but she couldn't bring herself to do it.
They were getting ready for bed.
"Do you want to sleep on the bed?" She asked.
"Huh?"
"Well, you said that the couch wasn't comfortable enough, and I decided to show you some pity."
"But that means that you'll sleep on the couch."
"Nah, we can share the bed." She saw the mischievous look on his face. She then put two pillows in the middle of the bed. "But no crossing these pillows."
He was a little disappointed, but it was a huge upgrade over the couch.
Takumi slept soundly, but Twilight couldn't sleep at all. She had her back to him, too embarrassed to face him.
She couldn't get what happened earlier out of her mind, so she decided that it would be easier if she told herself that it meant nothing.
