I knew I was dreaming, but I didn't want it to end. I never wanted to wake up, I didn't want to face reality, I couldn't.
An eerie white light seemed to surround me, going on and on, spiraling into nothingness. But strangely, I felt at peace.
Someone called my name. I gazed up at the beautiful face of my mother, her face had a strangely beautiful glow, her dark hair flowing freely behind her. It had been too long since I'd last dreamed about her. I was happy to see her, with her by my side I felt content, I felt safe, even if it was just a dream.
/"My darling. You're in pain, you're suffering./" My mother's melodious voice spoke.
I nodded my head looking up at her pleadingly, /"Please make the pain go away./"
