A Hero's Welcome

"So getting back inside... umm..."

Lillia gave Lydia a curious glance, her eyes shifting to Lydia's bust. She smiled and poked her arm.

"Did it break when you were fighting?"

Lydia scratched her neck and sighed.

"Ugh... Raphael broke them. Wait, were you watching the whole time?"

"No. Your ear."

Without thinking, Lydia touched her ear. A small stud was there. Her eyes narrowed as she dropped her hand.

"Where did this come from? And what does it do?"

Lillia smiled awkwardly as she showed her own ear. A small black stud.

"You have the second from my favorite pair. It was charmed... so I can teleport to your side."

Lydia touched it again, her eyes softening.

"I... won't return it."

Lillia nodded and puffed out her chest.

"So do you have a spare anywhere?"

Lydia began to pull out the bandages. A few cuts had been made along it, leaving several strands.

"They're hard to make and extremely expensive. I would rather not put that burden on my father, as the less expensive ones reduce only a fraction of the size. Mine are..."

"Beauriful? Mesmerizing? Stimulating? I can go on and on."

Her teasing grin left Lydia with pink cheeks.

"Shut up! Ours are similar, so stare at yours for now! I need to do this."

"So not all of human issues have been fixed? Same sex is allowed, yet women can't be knights? Can men not be saints still?"

Lydia could only nod as she stared at the town from behind the trees.

"Think you can fix these?"

Handing over the bandages, Lillia only stared. Before long, her fingers began to treat the damaged fabric. Lydia was stunned as the bandages practically came back to life.

"Oh, wow. You really did fix them again."

Lillia nodded.

"My family line has enchanted eyes. I read the magic within, then repaired it. Hmm... I wonder what your family line can do- wait... you healed Doren, right?"

Lydia nodded.

"I have some healing as well as enhancement magic. Kinda like a Saintess? My body is naturally strong as well."

Lillia furrowed her brow as she began to think. She had kept going for a while, so Lydia simply grabbed her bandages and lifted her top. Lillia spaced out and glued her eyes to Lydia as she proceeded wrap her breasts. As soon as they shrank down, she dropped her shirt and winked.

"Ah... umm... ahem. Damn that was distracting. Anyways, a Demon can't use healing magic. I never saw any family capable of performing it either. Maybe water, but not light."

Lydia shrugged.

"Don't know. Let's get back, then I'll have a conversation with my father. Especially about my mother..."

Lillia was curious, but kept silent as they began their return.

"So, was Doren always nearby?"

"Huh?"

"Big Fuzzy is in the trees."

Lillia stifled a laugh, but saw Doren hidden. Unable to control herself, Lillia burst into laughter.

"Big Fuzzy? Oh my, I gotta use that. It's fun to irritate him sometimes."

The two made their way to the gate, Lydia raising her voice.

"Hey, open the gate! Things are finished here!"

As the gate began to open, Lillia grabbed Lydia's sleeve.

"I'll be right back. I need to do something, then I'll teleport over to you. That okay?"

Lydia nodded, though Lillia took this as a chance and leaned in. Just as the gate finished lifting, the crowd had gathered to witness the Lavender Knight kissing the mysterious mage.

"Whoa. So even Sir Rex..."

"I'm so jealous!"

"I had a feeling..."

The crowd was quietly speaking as Lydia held her lips.

"J-just go! Brat. I'll be waiting for you."

Her words did nothing to calm the building excitement within the crowd. As she walked through the crowd, many words of congratulations reached her ears. Even a few cries of disbelief from men and women alike. After passing the rest if the crowd, she turned and called them to silence.

"Forgive me for that... honestly unexpected spectacle. For now, the Demons have been repelled, though I was defeated. Please, treat Lady Lillia with respect. She saved us all, pushing the Demons back and keeping me from death."

The crowd was in awe. As Lydia turned to leave, the crowd cheered for her as she smiled and waved them off. In her haste, she made it inside of the mansion quickly. The townspeople didn't seem to realize, but Scarlet was incredibly worried the moment she stepped inside.

"M-miss Lydia! You're covered in blood again! Wh-where are you hurt?"

She was quick to examine every little hole, only stopping when a strange dark flash of magic appeared. Standing within, Lillia hopped out of it and stared at Scarlet.

"Is she-"

"She isn't feeling me up. Hush. And go to my room. I'll be there soon, you remember the way?"

With a quick nod, she started off. Her happy smile left Lydia at ease. Left with Scarlet, she watched as she inspected every inch of her body.

"So where is my father? He normally goes crazy when we are in any danger."

"He went out last night with Jerr. Something important came up, but they'll return in a few days."

Lydia sighed.

"Oh well. I guess that gives me time to spend with you and Lillia. Think you could have Narra cook up something for us? If she isn't busy, she can join."

Scarlet smiled.

"Sounds good. A girls day! But be careful, Narra is bad with alcohol. We also don't know how bad Lillia is."

Scarlet darted off as Lydia headed towards her room. She opened the door, then quickly closed it.

"Lillia, put on your clothes."

"Make me!"

"Scarlet and Narra will be here soon. Do you want them to see you naked?"

"Don't care."

Lydia quickly opened the door and slammed it behind her. Her brow was furrowed as she as she stood over the fully nude Lillia. She smiled up at Lydia.

"Stand."

The sternness in her voice left Lillia blank. Without complaining, she quickly got to her feet.

"Clothes, on."

Lillia rolled her eyes and sighed, but began to dress.

"I'll get even pissed if you are seen like that."

Lillia had a pleased smile as she continued to get dressed.

"Brat."

Before she could finish, a knock was at the door.

"Hurry up. They might have food ready soon. It'll be a girls day."

Lydia went to the door and looked back as she opened it.

"By the way, what did you do when you went back to the bodies?"
