Betrayal

"What are you doing here?" Luo Ying asked when he didn't answer.

"I came to find you," Lin Ping said. His expression did not change.

His words hung in the air, creating an awkward atmosphere in the room.

Luo Ying wasn't naive. In her previous world, countless people had pursued her, and she could read people's thoughts through their eyes.

Lin Ping still had lingering feelings for her.

The more evident this became, the more distance she felt she needed to keep from him. She couldn't let Zhang Ruo suffer.
