The Battle Against the Titled Knight Specters and The Emperor's Power

The Titled Knight specters, with their darkened armor and malevolent presence, emerged from the mist, surrounding Lyle and the other commanders who had ventured too far. The situation became dire as the spectral leaders engaged them in combat, their strength matching that of their living counterparts.

Lyle, fighting against one of these formidable foes, realized the gravity of the emperor's dark ritual. The specters not only retained the skills and memories of their past lives but also the strength that made them formidable warriors in their prime.

That was not all, however, as not all of the Titled Knight and Mage specters were once people who held that rank. Some were abominations that seemed to have been sewn together by multiple people. Their faces were a mixture of more than one person, and even their bodies were a weird mixture.

Some had one arm longer than the other, a leg that was thicker and stronger than the other leg, and so on.
