Yin Zhu did not know why he asked this but then she watched him walk over to the painting which fell on the floor and straightened it up such that it was standing tall on the ground. Fortunately, the painting was soon covered by Situ Mu Yan or she would have been too embarrassed to keep her head up. 

With a step behind Situ Mu Yan, she stared at the wall opposite her and then replied, " I have never been photographed before, it's too expensive and the mana crystal which is used to print these photographs is rare and costly, thus there was no chance for me to ever pose." 

Cameras in the first cycle were not a unique thing but it was rare. It was made by the elves and the pixies of the third cycle which were known for their intelligence and skills when it came to creating new things. But the things which were created by the third cycle were infused with the magic of the elves and the pixies which was why they were really to see.
