Evelyn's Worries

Evelyn had to finish her dinner with Regan feeding her till the last bite

After they had finished, Regan didn't wait for others to finish. Instead he stood up from the chair holding her hand.

Evelyn was confused but she also stood up. However, her mouth hung open when she heard his next words.

"We will leave first Rex."

Rex nodded his head and smiled.

But Regan was not finished. He looked towards Lady Irwin and held Evelyn's waist firmly while saying

"I hope Lady Irwin doesn't mind our early departure. I wish to spend some lovely time with lovely wife."

Regan looked down at Evelyn in his arms as be said these words.

Evelyn's eyes were as wide as saucers.

She was so shocked by the mere words. What will happen if they really did it?

Regan mused to himself.

Looking away from Evelyn, he looked at Lady Irwin who said

"Your Highness is too polite with this servant. Though I am not married, I can understand the love between newly weds."
