Evelyn didn't understand how she could take care of Oliver. But seeing Gianna's tears, she readily nodded her head and said
"Yes, Mother. Don't cry. I will always take care of Oliver."
Gianna felt relief spreading through her chest when she heard this.
The doctor had said that Oliver wouldn't be able to stand on his legs for his whole life. When she heard this, Gianna had been worried every night about how her son will manage after her and her husband's death.
Who would take care of him?
Her heart would sink inside her chest whenever she would think that he would be alone after her death.
However, there was now Evelyn.
Evelyn would stay with her son for her whole life and she was younger than her son. Perhaps they would even have children.
Then her son would not be alone.
Gianna again assured herself that whatever she was doing was right and she didn't regret anything.
