Cut the deal

Having seen the mails from the Tsukiyomi princess, Tom quickly replied her. He let her know that Shirley had broken down and he needed an engineer from the factory who'd fix Shirley.

Not too soon after he had just e-mailed her, she replied, telling him she'd be arriving within two days.

"Yay! Now, when she comes, she'll sit me down and explain everything about this Shirley. It's starting to cringe me out," Tom said to himself.

Work had closed for the day and Tom had decided to take the stairs to kill time before leaving the office. He was just about getting to the second floor when he ran into Jennifer's father.

Tom sighed. He knew why the old man had come.

"Can this discussion be quick?" Tom asked, "I have somewhere to go now."

"I wouldn't want it to take my time as well. But, if it's going to lead to a positive end, I wouldn't mind spending time as well," said Colonel Ausborne in a mean face.

"Okay... I hear you. What do you want to tell me?" Tom said.
