Chaper 2: Luxury Aesthetics of Two Moguls

After returning back to school, Chan got aquinted with a handsome Sen. He happens to be his senior from a different course who was about to graduate. They met in the theater room when Chan was assigned to help set-up before practise

"Senior Go NamGi. He is the first born son of the current mayor of our capital. I learnt he is taking 'Theater' to get extra credit in his finals" a friend of Chan provided the info when he kept seeing the senior in their theatre class.

"He looks sleazy" another friend reminds

"He looks fine to me" another disagreed

"He stares alot. In a very weird way" someone pondered out loud

But Chan finds him interesting. The senior looks handsome..

After a week or two of shyly/awkwardly greeting and speaking with each other, Sen Go NamGi asked Chan on a date. The first date was great and so did the other many dates.

Go NamGi was a gentleman and knew how to charm DaeChan with his words and actions.

After his hyungs heard about the rumours they asked him if he truely is in a relationship with the Sen.

"Not gotten there yet. More like we are still in the courting phase" DaeChan immediately denies but felt bad seconds later after realising how quick he was to refute his hyungs.

But it is true.

He and the senior hasn't asked each other if they wanted to be boyfriends yet. One thing Chan finds weird though is the fact that no matter how secured their 'date' venues are, there was always a picture or two leaking to the media. But he just brushed it aside considering his status and also he knows his hyungs will deal it before it gets to the media.

After a few more dates, they officially entered into the 'boyfriends' stage but agreed to keep it private. Right after they got official, SunGi began to try to control the young ven. Chan was too lazy to pay him any heed as he got super busy. Expectedly he slowly starts to distance away from the senior.

The first time Chan had visited the senior's villa, NamGi tried to kiss him on the lips without permission. It made Chan uncomfortable and annoyed. Although they have known each other for almost four moon months now and have been dating for half the time, the furthest form of intimacy is shy pecks on the cheeks and hugs.

Not like Chan didn't want to do anything else. Especially after his last heat. He had to be sedated from beginning to end. Even in his sedated consciousness he could still feel the heavy thoughts of something missing. And the pulsing of his glands made him unable to relax even when heavily medicated

But his heart felt very reluctant to be more intimate with the senior. Also he knows his hyungs and parents will probably(definitely) 'unalive' the Sen should they find out.

When he showed his displeasure the Sen impatiently and arrogantly gave an excuse trying to brush it aside

'I feel insecure as a Sen if I do not have any intimate contact with my own lover' NamGi had shrugged nonchalantly.

That had made Chan soo mad, he just left with a sneer. The older male didn't call him to apologise or check on him after the incident and Chan honestly felt too lazy to go pet the older. To NamGi, Chan always bruises his ego as a Sen whenever he(Chan) attempts to pay for their food when on dates or buys him expensive gifts. So Chan painstakingly learnt how to embroidery so he can design a handmade handkerchief for him, the male had still been displeased calling it cheap and useless. Which DaeChan finds very insulting.

That was a rare embroidery wool made from real flowers. It was hard to make and worth at least 50,000 for a small roll of wool the size of a toddlers fist.

DaeChan felt drained whenever he hears the Sen complain about this or that. He could slowly start to see the cracks in NamGi's 'charms'. The Sen has a useless ego not befitting his status and frame. And also he has a ugly heart underneath all the 'gentlemanly and reserved' facade he shows those he comes across.

Chan just can't shake off the feeling that something fishy is going on. How the media knew he had gone to NamGi's house for the first time and left after an argument made him oddly suspicious. It really has been bothering him.

Well it is oddly suspicious to anyone.

Using voice command he places a call to his favourite hyung from the RogueGentlemen clan. It is the weekend and he had nothing else to do. Might as well ask for help.

"Hello baby ChanChan. What's up?" Prince U-Jin answers on the second ring.

"Hi Jinnie hyungie. Nothing much. You?" Chan's voice lits up a bit at the deep bit gentle voice of the Sen. Prince U-Jin is the second and only brother of the Crown Prince U-Ram of the Western State, who is married to Snowbird hyungie.

"I'm good but you don't sound so good. What happened?" the prince sits up from his cuddling position tapping his boyfriend laying behind him up.

"Nothing much. Just.. something about the guy I'm seeing now doesn't sit right" Chan sighs in response.

"I'm all ears babyboy" U-Jin patiently comforts.

DaeChan groans in 'distress'. U-Jin maybe the second prince of the Western State but on the side, this man is known as one of the most fearsome hacker the empire has ever trained. Well he is a SS+ Sen but not everyone knows it. He is also in a relationship with a Sen from the PurpleMoney clan(U-Ram's clan). A very popular Aero Engineer/Programmer.

"Is Eli hyung with you?" Chan asks a bit unsure

"Yeah. Want to talk to him?" U-Jin asks

"Urm.." Chan hesitated. Biting his lips in contemplation

"Can I speak with you both please?" He shyly requested

"Of course hun" U-Jin connects the voice call to the smart system so that he and his boyfriend can speak with Chan.

"Babyboy what's up?" Eli made his presence known.

Chan freezes at the deep low but smooth voice before stuttering a reply with his face heating up.

"H-hi h-hyung"

Chan still can't understand why he gets shy whenever he speaks to the Sen. He always forgets how incredibly low Sen Eli's voice is. Just like U-Jin hyungie, but just a bit more smoother.

"Hello baby ChanChan. What's going on?" Eli smiles. He had been introduced to the Min family after his bestfriend suddenly announced he was going to be a father. Although very unexpected but he was glad and relieved that his duffball of a friend was happy and settling down. After meeting the Min youngmasters, Eli was surprised and honestly impressed that his bestfriend is still alive and kicking. But it can't be denied how cute and geniuely nice the brothers are (when they are not trying to cause chaos for fun).

"I find it very suspicious how the media gets pictures of me and Go NamGi sunbae whenever we go on dates. Especially how oddly detailed it is. Like when I left his apartment four days ago, it was only him and I in the apartment. But the next morning Hyunjae hyungie called to ask about it" Chan frowns "Luckily it was stopped in time. But how did the media know we had an argument? If I really think about it, It's really kinda creepy" a cold shudder run flashed across his scalp.

Prince U-Jin shared a look with his Sen. With a nod Eli pulls the beautifully designed glass table closer and presses his palm on the surface to show a touch keyboard and a system interface. With a swipe, the screen is switched to float as the Sen types away commands.

"So where are you and which apartments have you had him over in?" U-Jin questions his tone more serious.

Chan realised the change of tone and answered all the questions honestly. An hour later, he sat in his apartment, staring at all the tiny voice and camera recorders piled on his mahogany dinner table. His heart filled with anger and a bit of sadness.

With the help of his two hyungs, he found out that the 'loving and caring' Sen Go NamGi has just been a perverted creep who had been trying to monitor DaeChan's every movement. Luckily  Chan was fortunate enough to invite the Sen to just one of his apartments and it is the less visited condo by the beach.

As if it could not get any worse, the senior had put two young Ven's to their death after forcing them to have illegal abortion. And currently there's a third person who has fallen into his trap once again.

Since the devastation that nearly destroyed mankind and the planets in star-year 2400, the entire human population had shrunk to half its original number and the Unirse became very spacious. Those that survived found it hard to breed children for the first 600 hundred years. Luckily the evolution of the human brain and body made life more prolonged. The discovery of 'Mental powers' and gene altercations helped humans from going extinct even though it was hard to produce new offsprings.

Mental Powers is the ability to self heal, super strength, high mental ability and if lucky enough, gain a power ability. With all these if a person's genes(DNA) is not high enough to support the mental power, ultimately the body collapses under the immense pressure. Before discovery of the differences and relations between the 'mental power' and gene level, the elderly took almost 70% of the entire Unirse population. Scientists, Doctors and Engineers frantically searched for ways to help contain and control the mental strength.

A few people came up with different kind of body 'exercises' and various methods which actually helped some to control their mental powers and improve their genes. But it did not work for everyone in general. Seeing this, many new 'families' were formed and the exercises were kept secret. Only to be shared within the family. Fortunately a few medicines were invented that could help ease the painful mental attacks and improve the gene level. People were willing to be used as lab testers for the new medicines. All in hopes to be lucky to be able to have their own offspring.

The emperors and leaders of each new continent beseeched the wealthy to help contribute to the nation in exchange for more land and resources. Because of the devastation and wars, many countries had been taken off the map due to extermination. So there many lands and expanded territories belonging to the continents.

Over *700 star-years after the world's destruction, the 'Mate-Match' center was founded after it was discovered the probability of having children heavily depended on the genes match at that time. Now it is star-year *3109, the probability of getting pregnant with someone not your match has gotten higher but still not easy.

[ a/n: 2400 the world was destroyed. First 600 star-years years was spent to find cures and solution to breeding and mental powers. With the help of various methods, human genes gradually improved. After the first 600 star-years, the Mate Match centre has been built and some still rely of it. But not everyone. The total time it took for the changes and adaptations is over 700 star-years. The star-year of the Monarchy is 3109. 2400 + 709= 3109. I re-read and got confused so i had to clear it out]

After so much time, the Unirse population has risen by 36% since the evolution. Having an abortion has been made illegal by every continent, except for 'special' health situations. As long as the gama or ven is considered healthy, the state is willing to 'adopt' and raise the child till they are considered of legal age to work and fend for themselves. The mother becomes a 'surrogate' of some sort and gets paid just to give birth. Everything else is taken care if by the state after thorough investigations.

But it's not like the state can cover the entire sky with one hand. It is very risky to get abortions and many die on the operating table. Very few doctors are willing to do it. But that bloody bastard managed to kill two Vens through this just to hide his disgusting villainous deeds.
