The front page of the folder had a picture of a gray short-hair cat's face with a red eye on its forehead.

Name—Third Eye Kitty

Height—35 cm

Species (simplified)—Domestic Cat

Crime—Accountable for deaths of Goldarks and oyster-traps.

Location - Hiris City Annual Science Exhibition.

To do—arrest/ eliminate.

Reward- 10 percent amount of remains.

"You can't be serious about this, right?," he asked pleadingly.,"That's a freaking cat, literally a cat in both name and body."

The woman's calm and cool demeanor showed that she expected this reaction from him, sitting upright in her chair, she looked Gino in his eye and showed him that she was serious this time.

"See that's where you are wrong, sweet-pie.," She tapped the pen on the cat's picture and responded in her usual way., "What do you think of this eye on its forehead."

"A Tattoo?"

"Nope"

"Then what is it?"

"The analysts say that it's a hypnotic mechanism." Gino was truly surprised by this. He never saw or heard of anything like this, a red eye and hypnotism.

"Any proof?"

"How do you think a domestic cat is capable of killing a Goldark or an oyster-trap, let alone that it killed a dozen of them at once."

"What is a Goldark and oyster-trap, never went to a science exhibition."

"I knew you would ask that, that's why I got a presentation ready for you." She took out a pair of reading glasses and tapped twice on the table. A colorful hologram of a rotating fish appeared, "Goldark is a hybrid of goldfish and sharks. They are the size of a goldfish and as carnivorous as a shark, their scales are blended with pure gold, making them look beautiful and deadly at the same time."

She tapped again on the table and the slide changed into an oyster, but it had thorny structures along the edges of its shell.

"Even if I feed you?," she closed the hologram and waited for his response.

"Yes"

"Boo," she pouted.

Gino took a hold of the file from her table and read the description again, he realized something, and was about to jump in joy.

Gino barged outside the room in a hurry to solve his first case. He searched for the keypad and unlocked the door when the captain was wearing her shirt. A tall woman with red hair and in a black suit waited for Gino outside the Captain's cabin. She caught a lot of eyes from the officers on the 5th floor because it was unusual for a secret security officer to be seen in this building. "LIX!," he called her by her name. Lifting the folder in his hand, he showed her, "I got my first case. Woo-hoo!" She couldn't help but smile, looking at him.

An overexcited Gino ran towards the tall woman and jumped on her, she lifted and rotated him as he showed everyone his folder like a trophy.

Gino was lost at the moment, but soon he was abruptly grabbed back to reality, everyone on the floor were staring at him.

In an instant, he got embarrassed and uncomfortable, all the excitement he had a second ago disappeared like thin smoke. He looked down towards her and patted her shoulder, "That's enough. Now get me down."

But no, she won't do it. She just kept on rotating him in the air with a wide mischievous grin, as Gino looked only towards her, hiding his embarrassment from the public. He continued tapping her shoulders, harder with every passing second, but she only enjoyed it.,"Pleaseee... Or I choke you next" he was on the verge of tears. As much as she wanted him to do it, she noticed some water in the corner of his eyes. Realizing it was a mistake, she slipped him down to the floor, rubbing both their bodies in the process.

As soon as he got down, he bolted towards the elevator, praying that everyone should forget this by the next time he comes here.

"Wait!," she yelled after him.

Before chasing after him, she turned back towards the officers one last time and gave everyone a fierce look, a ferocious look that of an angry beast. The officers shuddered at her glare and resumed doing their work. But her fierce face still remained in their minds, and they all thought the same. 'scary'

Gino entered the elevator and kept on pressing the door close button. He heard Lix's footsteps a few meters away, but he didn't wait for her, and the doors closed before she could enter.

The doors opened again on the 3rd floor and Lix entered inside silently, no greetings, no eye contact, nothing. She stood beside him with her hands in her trouser pockets, facing the door.

Was it his anger, or was it the silence, something about this situation made Gino feel suffocated. So he just sped outside the elevator to take the stairs down.

One step outside the elevator, and he felt a touch on his nape.

"Wha!... Let me go. Leave me!!!," Lix caught him by his collar and pulled him back inside like an elastic band.

Gino flung back inside and landed on the floor, his back, and butt stung like hell, but at least her hand saved him from hurting his head into the elevator wall.

"OUu, What's wrong with you?," he howled in pain, but she wasn't even looking at him. She looked straight towards the door with the same poker face.

Gino tried to stand up, but he got slammed to the floor again. Lix pressed her hand down on his shoulder, making him unable to budge his torso. He fidgeted for a while, but after the door closed, he sat still.

"What do you want?" She didn't answer, nor did she lift her hand. Gino readied his mind, there was more embarrassment coming his way.
