You Know Too Much!

Redakteur: Atlas Studios

Ivan breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the snake's massive body lying on the ground in front of him. It was a tough nut to crack.

It would have been hard to say if he hadn't dealt the basilisk a nasty blow while it was occupied with Aragog.

Ivan couldn't help but comment on the book-writer's failure to note how long it would take for a rooster to kill a basilisk.

It took him several minutes to kill the basilisk with five roosters, and he didn't even know if it had bled to death…

Fortunately, the crowing of the rooster was not all he had to rely on, or he would have been killed by the book-writer…

Ivan sighed as he retrieved a test tube from his pocket and used it to collect the blood that had flowed from the basilisk's wound.

[Magical Item: Basilisk Blood

[Description: This is blood extracted from a thousand-year-old Basilisk. It contains extremely powerful vitality and magic…]

Ivan stared at the information in the system, somewhat pleasantly surprised. The longer the Basilisk lived, the more powerful it became, and the more powerful the magic in its blood became.

This meant that his strength would increase even more after the fusion!

Crack … crack …

"Thank you for saving me, wizard…" Aragog struggled to stand on his front legs, weakened by the snake venom.

The Acromantula was highly venomous and highly resistant to toxins, but Aragog had managed to hold out for so long that he was close to death.

However, it did not want to die, so it begged humbly, "Do you have a cure for my snake venom?"

"No, I had no choice!" Ivan said brutally, shaking his head.

His only known cure for snake venom was a phoenix's tear, but Dumbledore would not save a savage Acromantula.

Even if he did, it would be too late…

Therefore, it is better to wait for death…

Aragog was silent for a moment, then suddenly said, "I am dying, wizard…can you do me a favour?"

"Do you have something to say to Hagrid?" Ivan asked seriously, turning to look at the aged giant spider.

"No! I want you to find the man who opened the Slytherin Chamber and kill him!" Aragog's words were murderous.

After the events of the Chamber of Secrets fifty years ago, Aragog was well aware that the basilisk remained dormant within the Chamber of Secrets, and would never appear unless summoned by someone else…

With this in mind, Aragog prepared to tell this wizard everything he knew, begging Hagrid's friend to avenge his people!

However, Aragog, who was about to speak, realised that the other's appearance seemed too much of a coincidence…

Why would a wizard enter his lair in the middle of the night, when the basilisk was attacking…

Unless …

"You're the one who freed the basilisk!" Aragog screamed, his body shaking.

As soon as he finished speaking, an invisible blade pierced Aragog's head! The old Acromantula struggled to move forward, and then its huge body collapsed…

Ivan put down his wand and looked at Aragog's body.

"You know too much!"

The dim cave was suddenly silent except for the bodies strewn across the floor. Ivan looked around, wondering what to do with them.

"Wait a minute… how much is a bottle of Acromantula venom?" Ivan rubbed his chin in surprise. He felt like he was going to get rich overnight!

If he remembered correctly, the venom of an Acromantula was worth sixty Galleons in the black market of Knockturn Alley!

If sold officially, it would cost as much as a hundred Galleons!

After cleaning out the nest, Ivan thought he would have no trouble making up sixty or seventy bottles.

Combined with the gold Galleons he had extorted from Lockhart, Ivan suddenly realised that twenty thousand Galleons was not as hard to earn as he had thought…

Ivan was so excited by the prospect that he cut off all of the Acromantula's venom sacs, including the Basilisk's teeth, skin, and other valuables.

It took an entire night to move the most valuable parts of the cave to the Room of Requirement.

Those that were too heavy and difficult to carry around had to be abandoned.

Ivan finally picked up the two remaining roosters and left the cave, casting a spell with his wand.

"Explode!"

There was a huge explosion, and the entrance to the cave was partially destroyed. Ivan fired another shot, burying the nest of the Acromantula…

"What can you do without the basilisk? Tom!" Ivan muttered to himself, looking at the blasted hole.

Ivan's nerves had relaxed considerably since the battle with the basilisk, but this did not mean that he had calmed down.

Because in addition to searching for a Horcrux, his improved Fusion Potion was about to be brewed, which meant he would soon be able to fuse a second bloodline…

Basilisk blood!

Thus, Ivan spent the rest of the day in the Room of Requirement, going through the information that Slytherin had left behind to further his knowledge of blood fusion.

His knowledge of basilisks grew…

"A basilisk is the most dangerous and most powerful creature created by a wizard!" said Ivan, touching the end of the parchment and lost in thought.

He remembered reading in The Origin of Blood that some ambitious wizards used various means to cultivate the most powerful and most suited magical creatures.

Herpo the Foul, the creator of Basilisk, went there with this in mind…

It is recorded that Helper was the first one to fuse with the blood of a basilisk, and was the most famous Dark Wizard of his time.

Salazar Slytherin is probably the second person to have fused with Basilisk blood!

However, the sheepskin scroll does not record what abilities the founder of Hogwarts acquired…

However, the parchment clearly stated that there would be no side effects from fusing snake blood…

Ivan put down the parchment and walked over to the cauldron, which was bubbling. He looked at the fused potion that was gradually turning into chaos and added the cold Basilisk blood to it without hesitation.

The chaos-coloured Fusion Potion rose up and within a few minutes it had turned dark green and was glowing faintly…

"System, exchange for protection mode!" Ivan said as he placed the potion in a test tube and held it in his hand.

(PS: The reason for Lord Voldemort's snake-like face will be explained later, due to many factors… the main character does not change anyway…)
