Akiba had tried to inherit Yovhpall's legacy, but it was not possible. No one in the group had succeeded yet.

He had improved his power quite a bit by being blessed by the god of imagination, his imaginations required less to be summoned, and he could now vary his fighting style a lot.

However, he was not as disciplined as Yovhpall, nor did he have as great a sense of duty. He did what he had to do and was not lazy, but he was not a suitable heir for Yovhpall.

They had to look elsewhere, and this was severely limited by their current resources and powers. For demigods, they were still very poor for being newly ascended.

Normal demigods could have resources with thousands of years of accumulation, because when they reach this power, youth can be eternal, as long as the power keeps increasing or does not decrease.
