Shions Cooking!! Battle Against The Orcs!!

(Lucifer POV)

It's been a few days since we named Benimaru and the rest.

Since those few days, we have named the rest of the ogres and they have all gotten considerably stronger and have all gotten human-like features.

Rimuru seems to still be a little annoyed that I disregarded his opinion when he tried to reprimand Shion but he somewhat understands why I did it, so he'll eventually get over it.

I'm currently waiting for my lunch to be brought to me with Rimuru and the other ogres in the mini-cafeteria which we use for food and meetings since we're still developing.

"Who's gonna be making our meals today?" Rimuru questioned since it usually doesn't take this long for their lunch to come in.

"I was told Shion wanted to make the meal for today." Rigur replied it seems he just entered.

As soon as Rigur spoke, the woman herself entered with dishes in her hand.

Immediately it seemed like the room chilled down, all the ogres seemed scared of something.

Hakuro immediately erased his presence, Souei made an excuse that he had to patrol the village, and Benimaru could be seen nervously sweating calling Hakuro a coward.

Shuna wasn't here because I think she was doing work teaching others.

Kurobei also wasn't here because he was working with the dwarves in order to learn from themselves and to improve the ogres/goblin's armor so it's safer for future battles.

"Lord Rimuru and Lord Lucifer, I would like for you guys to try out my food." Shion stated while placing down the bowls in front of me and Rimuru.

I look down and I see a bowl full of purple mush, it looked like poison, it was still boiling and looked alive.

I could see Rimuru staring nervously at the food, it seemed like he was trying to come up with a plan.

It seemed as if luck is on his side because Gobta walked in just like in the anime, completely clueless.

Rimuru scooped up the purple mush with his wooden spoon, closed his eyes, and put the spoon in the clueless Gobta's mouth randomly.

"Aghhhhhh....."

Gobta seemed to be choking and his face was turning purple but his voice eventually just died down and he seemed to have fell unconscious with a purple face.

It also seems like he gained a poison resistance skill because of it, I just chuckled at how easily he gained a resistance skill because of her food.

Eventually, goblins came in and took him out to take him to the infirmary.

"Ah Shion, I'm actually not hungry right now, I'll eat later." Rimuru just nervously chuckled.

Shion looked downcasted because of it.

"I'll try out your food." I interjected smiling.

Shion looked happy at hearing that, she looked at me waiting for my feedback.

The rest just looked at me weirdly, probably thinking I'm crazy.

I picked up my spoon and dipped it into the toxic mush, I slowly put into my mouth.

I kept a smiling face but inwardly I was dying, this shit really is ass, it's time to abort the mission guys.

I swallowed the food and stayed silent, everyone was looking at me worriedly, except Shion who was eagerly waiting.

The irony is crazy.

"Uhm, that shit was horrible." I cleared my throat and told her the truth.

Her eyes started to tear up, it seemed she was about to go on a tantrum but I interfered before it got worse.

"Relax. Everyone starts somewhere, you may be shit now but you can be good in the future. It may sound like I'm being cruel but in order for you to improve, you have to come to terms with what you are now, which is shit at cooking. I myself will help if you need it but other than that, try tasting your own food." It may sound rude but from my experience, the truth is the best answer regardless of the situation.

Everyone looked shocked at my bluntness, even Souei had shocked eyes.

Everyone looked toward Shion to see her reaction....

She seemed to be determinedly staring at me.

"Lord Lucifer I will heed your advice." Shion stated determinedly looking straight at me.

As I thought, all she needs is guidance, she is a very persistent person and people may consider her dumb but I think if taught properly, she can grow even more as a person.

I just smiled at her words and nodded silently.

Eventually, she left to practice more in the kitchen.

Once she was gone, Benimaru and Hakuro were impressed with how I handled her.

"Impressive Lord Lucifer, I haven't seen anyone deal with her the way you did." Benimaru complimented.

"I agree, her parents died when she was at a young age so she was never taught properly." Hakuro seemed nostalgic talking about her parents.

"I see." I nodded, understanding why she seemed not knowledgeable.

I sensed a disturbance in the Magicules around us, I think Rimuru also felt it.

I took my gun out pointing to where it's coming from, I cock it back and wait patiently.

Rimuru also seemed to be ready for an attack, the other ogres were confused at first but eventually noticed the disturbance and were on guard with their weapons out.

But what came out was a green-haired beauty.

"I apologize for intruding, I am the dryad, Treyni." Treyni stated while low-key sweating nervously because of all the strong monsters pointing weapons at her.

Wait a minute, isn't she a little too early?

"I wish to explain the upcoming Orc Disaster." She explained.

I and Rimuru put our weapons down because we sensed no hostility from her, so we let her explain.

The others also put away their weapons once they saw us do it.

"Before you start explaining, let's call in the rest." I motioned for Benimaru to summon all the top figures.

Eventually, some of the dwarves came, all the top figures for the goblins came, and Souei, Shion, Kurobei, and Shuna came.

"Let me introduce ourselves, My name is Rimuru Tempest and this is Lucifer Tempest, my brother?" It seems Rimuru isn't sure what our title is since we never had to worry about stuff like that and he just came up with it on the spot.

All of our subordinates looked surprised by this statement because they were never told this before.

"Is that true Lord Lucifer and Lord Rimuru!?" Shion questioned with stars in her eyes.

"Wow, that's crazy." Benimaru quietly stated but everyone clearly heard him.

"We learn new things every day." Hakuro smiled while talking.

Shuna and the rest just stayed silent while smiling.

"Nah." I calmly stated.

Everyone looked confused at my statement including Rimuru who looked hurt.

I walked over to where Rimuru was sitting, standing behind him, I put my arms across his neck while leaning my head against his.

"We actually are married!!" I exclaimed while trying to give Rimuru a fake kiss, while he keeps pushing my face away.

"Get off me!! I'm not into that stuff!!" Rimuru's face was turning red because of the embarrassment.

"Oh my god!! Lord Rimuru and Lord Lucifer are married, what a beautiful couple!!" Shion exclaimed.

The rest seemed to understand I was just joking and just chuckled at the situation.

Rimuru got up and started to run away from me, we were running circles around the table.

Our subordinates were laughing at the childish behavior of their masters but it also felt like they seemed refreshed to see they had leaders who were responsible and fun.

I eventually stopped messing around and sat back in my chair.

Rimuru also went back to his chair.

"But yes, we are brothers, you could say we just forgot to tell you guys." I explained to everyone.

Everyone nodded in understanding.

"Alright, sorry for that, you can start explaining now." Rimuru gave Treyni permission to start.

She then explained how she wanted to ask us a favor, she wanted us to defeat the Orc Lord.

She also explained that they accelerated their plans because they saw our strength and didn't want us to interfere before the Orc Lord could reach his full strength.

(Rimuru POV)

It's been a few hours since the meeting, we're currently marching toward the lizardmen.

We brought about a good amount of our subordinates because we are using non-lethal methods in order to not kill them and we would need a good amount in order to hold them off.

Treyni explained that if we beat the Orc Lord, the mind control will break.

Our plan is to go assist the lizardmen in defeating the Orc Lord, we will let our subordinates fight in the beginning and if they need our help me and Lucifer will step in.

Looking to my right, I see Lucifer smirking at me, probably teasing me from earlier.

I just shake my head at his antics and look up ahead to see the orc army in a battle against the lizards, it couldn't even be called a battle, the orcs are destroying the lizards.

We had over 2 thousand ogres, 2 thousand goblins, and around 50 dire wolves.

We were against 200 thousand orcs, it should be a tough battle.

Shuna stayed back at the village with Danamaru which is the chief's new name.

"Alright, everyone be careful, also don't forget to not kill them, only kill if your life is in danger." I informed my orders to everyone.

Me and Lucifer started to fly up to the sky while the rest started to advance towards the orc's army to assist the lizardmen.

"My wife's looking pretty nice." Lucifer winked at me.

I just roll my eyes at him.

"You joke way too much." I shake my head while sighing.

"I mean if I were to be honest, I definitely find you attractive but just like how your not gay, it's the same with me." Lucifer assured me.

I look at him weirdly but just sigh.

"At least your honest."

We both start to observe the battle below....

Damn!! We're beating their ass, look at them go, I think I really underestimated our subordinates.

I look towards Lucifer and he seems to have expected this outcome, he also seemed to be proud of them.

Our top subordinates were doing even more amazing, Benimaru could be seen knocking hundreds of orcs out with the blunt side of his katana.

Shion was just brute forcing her way through all of them, throwing punches, trying her best to control her strength even though she killed some by accident.

I just chuckled at her recklessness, the rest seemed to be doing great also.

It seemed that after the naming, their strength evolved by leaps and bounds, I truly underestimated them.

Eventually, it seemed that the orchestrator of this attack came himself.

He flew past me and Lucifer and landed in front of the Orc Lord.

"I'll MAKE YOU GUYS PAY FOR RUINING MY PLANS!!" The man with the weird mask exclaimed.

'Great Sage who is he?'

[Notice: He seems to be Gelmud, the one who named the son of the subordinate named Rigur.]

Hmm, I see.

Me and Lucifer were about to attack when suddenly the Orc Lord eats Gelmud and seemed to have gotten stronger.

He was turning into the orc disaster Treyni told us about.

Well, he's still a piece of cake for me and Lucifer, so theirs nothing to worry about.

"Let's handle this quickly, i'm lowkey tired." I told Lucifer.

He smirked.

"Of course mi'lady." He did a fake bow and flew towards Gelmud.

I followed after him with my katana ready.
