Broken Web

Set in the semi-rural village of Umunze, Broken web is a story of deceit and treachery, a story of the unending frictions and battles between religion, customs and civilization. Broken web tells the story of Nwamaka and Ugomma, two teenage friends who were tricked and impregnated by the same man who decided to abscond rather than face the consequences of his actions. Unable to face the shame, stigma, and attendant punishment from both custom and the Church, they decided to go the easy route of abortion in the hands of a quack administrator. What followed will leave you aghast.
