Practise Kindness

And now that she had been fired, it came from her own savings.

"Chiaki," Azure called gently. Gin who sat next to him and whose face was only half in frame listened patiently, offering the silent consolation to his aunt by his presence.

"Raise this to the lord, okay? You can't battle the harassment alone. They've stepped out of the line by accusing you like this. And Lance Hua must know what is actually happening so he can back you up."

Gin nodded at the statement, his eyebrows stitched at his eagerness to support his aunt.

"But this is just . . .  I don't know."

"Just a one-off?" Azure asked, his tone lilted at the end.

Chiaki bobbed her head. "Do you think it's important to report this to Lance?"

"Look, Chiaki. They've bullied you. They're the court officials and they're your husband's subordinates. Don't you think what they did deserved reporting?"

"But they might not know that I'm funding the victims."
