Chapter 25: The Rites of Bone

There are many stories that humans get wrong about the paranormal world that they inhabit. Many of these stories had to do with the rituals that are performed, what they are, how they are supposed to be performed, etc. While the stories are humorous and flattering, they are ripe with fiction and misconceptions. One of these rituals is the Rites of Bone.

In the mundane stories, the Rites of Bone was a sexual ritual, the binding of souls for eternity that allowed two mates to think and feel as one. While the later part of that is true, the ritual was in no way sensual. That much was dependent on the feelings of the mates and if both were comfortable on taking such a large step.
