Ezra in Action

Ezra glanced at his mother and smiled weakly, "it's okay Mom, I'm totally fine now. I feel much better now."

He says as now all the memories of what happened in the police station flooded in his memory. His heart suddenly feels like beating faster whenever he remembers how helpless Scarlett was. The woman... no, his woman was in someone else's arms.

"Okay, if you say so but please rest as much as you can. You were heavily injured and your internals were filled with smoke. Doctor said you need time to be fully revitalised." His mom says, wiping her tears.

Rest? How will he rest knowing Scarlett is still in danger. She doesn't even know that he had come to save her. He did come to know her truth and not the lies which Ferdinand fed him. Her real truth, her very own suffering.
