Who Cursed Him?

It's been three days of extreme torture for Rowland. The pains had become very unbearable. It was a surprise to him because it was supposed to lessen after the first day, after all, he didn't mark her. 

Could what Della said to be the truth? Is there a secret behind the pains? He turned to Della who was trying to mix herbal pain relief for him.

"Della, this is becoming strange. It seems as though the pain has worsened. It doesn't stop except for a few minutes before it becomes more painful. I am beginning to believe your words".

Della looked at Rowland. He knew it wasn't ordinary right from the first day. He had seen people rejecting their mates and the pains they pass through but Rowland's pain was quite extraordinary.

"I told you before, didn't I? There are so many mysteries in this world other than humans and werewolves".
