Nobility

The room was spacious, at the centre was a well-carved floating rectangular slab while at the side were other carved rectangular slabs.

On them, the Monsters were placed, and Sarima dragged Seth to one of them and began to explain!

"Crodo are vicious creatures that always come whenever the comet strikes. They usually come with a mission to kill or capture someone."

"They are smart enough to avoid any person that is stronger than them, so they usually plan and avoid the person."

"Their actual weight and hardness were very low but they can increase it at will. As you can see they have the features of a dog and a crocodile, but their morphology is entirely different."

She dissected the Crodo and Seth was amazed. The skin and flesh of Crodo were one and the same and their nature makes them have insane dexterity because they can control muscle/hide seamlessly.

There inside was made of blood vessels and four Bean Shaped organs and a heart. There was no digestive or excretory system. Only the circulatory system.

"Why do we leave heroes outside and bring trash here!" A middle-aged man asked as he came into the room.

"Because I said so… I want his Azure Uniform to be incorporated with this level 4 Crodo!"

Sarima said but seeing the man refused to move she said, "Chief's Order. Should I tell him you refused?"

The man snorted and went to the floating rectangular slab at the centre!

"Please remove your uniform." She said.

Seth thought for some time before he removed his jacket. He has already lost something valuable, what more to lose.

The man took the jacket as he grumbled and threw it to the stone.

The stone glowed with runes and the jacket was separated into various things.

"This is its true nature." Sarima explained. The blue jacket was now white. Its body was made of a comprehensive and pronounced weaving of special white threads and at the edge was embroiled with white leather.

It was beautiful!

Floating above it was a blue light which made the jacket blue if fused and other things were floating with it!

A soft Coin-like material!

A strong twisting Strings!

Then a transparent Nut that with the slightest breeze, releases a repulsion force!

Sarima took her time explaining them to Seth!

The Coin was taken from an animal that always releases substances that remove dirt from its body. It's what makes the clothes clean themselves!

The String repairs the uniform all the time!

The Nut was the thing that incited the force field!

And the last thing which Seth didn't see until he was informed of was a Feather. It can camouflage itself in any environment.

"Physical armour is the best. It helps in String repairs and also protects these things that I just showed you. They can be destroyed and their attributes may disappear. And…" she looked at Seth and added, "You don't need to worry about weight since we are using Crodo as the physical armour ingredients!" It was as if she was convincing Seth to agree.

"Why are you spoiling him? If he doesn't want to, let the brat do what he likes."

Without warning, she grabbed Seth's hand and showed it to the man and… cold sweat broke on him!

"I didn't know we are having a Lord as our guest" His attitude was a complete shift.

Seth looked at his hand and saw Number 10. He didn't know he had it. He rubbed the place but the number seemed naturally inside his skin.

No, it's as if the number was part of his hand. Seth can feel that the number is part of his skin, muscles, and even bones.

"He killed Crodo, but they took the prize. Mara had no shame as she was laughing, flaunting the power she stole!" Sarima gritted her teeth with anger!

"Well, darling. They are…."

"I have no respect for them anymore. What they did is against Warriors Conduct and pride." Sarima was a true warrior through and through.

Seeing that Seth stood his ground and fought with them against the monsters and yet was denied the prize of his First kill, made her angry.

"I know you lost your sisters. But we need Mara..."

"After they tricked us. We thought we are here for dragons but no we are not. My sisters died in vain. A death that is not even heroic…..!" She continued to rant.

Seth did not understand the last of her ranting. It's as if they were tricked to be fighting the Crodo thinking they will be fighting Dragons.

In the end, Seth was given another set of clothes to wear and he was asked to watch the First Forge as the new attribute was being integrated into his jacket.

After his first lesson, he left the house and strolled the town. The battle might have occurred but there were no destroyed buildings at all because they had been repaired by Mara. But the faces of people were grave.

What made Seth curious to rise was that there was still a wound on some players and townspeople. But believing he will be scolded, he did not ask them why they did not get treated.

He arrived at the Madam Mud clinic and saw it was crowded with people and her healing wasn't closing the wounds!

Seth sighed! He remembered about the notification that said being killed by 'them' has repercussions. Maybe even wounds wouldn't heal easily.

Seth doesn't know his assumption was on track. Crodo inflicted wounds that were not easily healed. And players killed by Crodo will have their level halved and all their skills erased for a certain duration!

Two hours later Seth was called into the Manor and he met with the Chief and then he was given a new armour. Well, it was his uniform that was reforged with part of Level 4 Crodo.

Level 1 Crodo was the one Seth and Female Guards fought while level 4 Crodo was the one the Chief fought.

The Chief gave a little speech about Seth's bravery and his first kill and then he said! "I hereby announce you as the First Noble in this Town!"

The Guards saluted and he was informed to be bestowed a plot of land in the town.

While all that was happening, Sarima and Gideon's faces were contorted with anger. They seem as if they are going to burst.

Gideon was the Male Guard Captain. If it was Gideon only, Seth would think he was envying him but seeing Sarima too. He thought maybe he deserved more than what he was being given!

It was a limited Ceremonial Event prepared for Seth and only the people of the Manor knew about Seth's Nobility and then only they brought Seth with gifts.

He expected Sarima to hand him her gift by herself but she didn't but sent her child, the one she pushed to the ground to give him a book named 'Life forms in Amma!'

*******

As Seth logged out, he found himself dizzy, his breath was ragged and he heard people speaking over his head.

"Thank God, he is awake. Get him… out!" His mother's shaky voice said!

His vision was blurry as he tried to make sense of what was going on. Anna and his mother were trying to stop tears and snorts from coming out.

'This sensation!?' Seth thought! He was sensing something similar to Temporal Pearl.

He opened his eyes wide and looked at the place he was sensing it, alas—he only saw a blur and his consciousness slipped away!

Lord Seth Enoch, he is just a Noble without the title of Baron!

Do you still have your popcorn? well, you should ponder what he senses that was similar to Temporal Pearl!
