Six felt his heart skip a beat and quickly knelt down.
"Leader, how dare I ever entertain such ideas? You're wise and valiant, a favourite in Master's eyes. Even if I borrowed a hundred times more courage, I wouldn't dare to disrespect you," he stammered.
While uttering these sycophantic words, he mentally berated Ten over and over again.
All of this was Ten's fault -- that good-for-nothing had disrupted his plans. If not for him, the leader would've had him on guard duty by now. He would've been the first to catch that girl and win her over.
At that point, he would've been the first to secure her. He just needed an unwatched moment to get things done with her, and then she would be his forever.
Once she became a trusted aide by the leader's side, wouldn't he benefit too?
But look at the situation now, everything was ruined!
