"It's just a rabbit, no need to fuss over it like this."
Watching Lin Caisang stare perplexedly at the rabbit in her hand, Ya Molian felt compelled to say something.
"How can it simply be about a rabbit? If it were people, they... No, I have to find out the reason." Lin Caisang shook her head, asserting herself with unusual certainty.
Coming out of the room with her in hand, she locked herself in another room, initiating her research on this motionless rabbit.
Soon enough she identified the reason.
"Brother Molian, who caught this rabbit? Was it Zhe Jue?"
She walked out of the room and asked Ya Molian, who was waiting for her in the courtyard.
"Zhe Jue."
Ya Molian called into the yard, and Zhe Jue emerged, rubbing his nose and appearing rather innocent.
"Miss Lin, you never said these rabbits should remain unscathed, so I only... ahem." He coughed awkwardly twice.
