day 4: The Guild vs the undead Barrow part 1

Riku POV

I was sitting in the tavern drinking a bit of the honey Mead well I waited for everyone else I started to wonder what the Guild Master was up to then I noticed Artorias had put a message in the Guild chat it was coordinates to an dungeon outside the city.

Artorias:" I don't know if it'll drop any items but it did give a decent amount of experience. and it's about a few minutes walk from the front gate."

Riku:" all right guildmaster we all head there as soon as Amy wakes up."

Tusk:" yeah we're going to be waiting for at least another 20 minutes for that."

bunga:" well as we wait we can simply go through the wolf dungeon a couple times."

Val:" oh yeah I reworked some of the armor that wasn't good for any of our builds and I got some successes from them the rest I just melted down into materials. I got a pair of Epic earrings that have a passive skill that increases Mana recovery and gives you 150 increase in health but 300 increase in Mana. that's it for the earring then I have a dagger that is rare quality and has a passive skill that causes both poison and bleeding on a successful back stab. the stat increases doesn't really matter in my opinion since they're pretty standard for anyone who uses a dagger."

Kyrie:" I will come by for the dagger and give you one of my old ones so you can either rework it to sell it or melt it down for materials."

Sora:" and I'll be around for those earrings I got some raw materials on me from some other dungeons I have done I could give you an exchange."

Val:" sure I'll be waiting for you two then."

gecko:" I think I'm going to choose the information gathering division since I have had time to think about which one I want to be a part of."

I then received a notification. about gecko being transferred to the information gathering division. I then noticed Tusk send a message into the Guild chat.

Tusk:" okay Shakti wake up and everyone else move towards the front gate so we can head to the Undead Barrel."

as I stand up I leave some coins on the table to pay for my drink I then down the whole thing in one go after that I made my way to the front gate of the village. as I decide to respond to him in the chat.

" all right I'll be there in a bit."

I continue to walk in a leisurely Pace towards the front gate as I start to think about the barrel.

" it's most certainly going to have a lot of Undead most likely a lot of them are going to be skeletons and zombies. but I wonder what other types of Undead are there going to be. I should probably send a message to Guild Master."

after I thought of this I decided to send Artorias a message in our private chat.

" yo what kind of Undead did you encounter in the undead Barrel?"

Artorias seem to immediately respond.

" I encountered mostly zombies skeletons maybe a ghoul every now and then but I did encounter a unique enemy but from what I gather from the quest I got when that thing popped up it was unique meaning it was a one-of-a-kind so you don't have to worry about that overpowered bastard but I did turn his corpse into one of my royal guard."

I started to wonder how the hell is he this overpowered but then I remember his explanation. I couldn't help but sigh as I reply.

"Ok"

but then I got curious about unique enemy and my system popped up to answer my question.

" unique enemies have a chance of occurring in every dungeon at least 10 times in a Dungeons existence. these unique enemies unlike other monsters grow stronger with every creature it kills even attacking the other dungeon monsters there has been some cases stated that a unique enemy was about level 150 in a level 25 dungeon."

I stayed dead silent as a system replied I couldn't help but feel a shiver go down my spine I then also thought if the system was a person I probably would have kissed them because of how helpful they are. I swore for a second I heard the system stutter but I just tossed up just my mind playing tricks on me. I remain quiet as I arrived at the front gate I sat down right outside of it. I accessed my inventory and pull out a loot and begin playing at calm Melody.

50 minutes later

Black-Tusk pov

as I finally arrived at the front gate I saw everyone else I then saw Riku playing his loot which brought Smiles in my face.

" hello everyone. is everyone ready?"

everyone knows their heads so I started to look at the Guild chat at the coordinates and begin leading us there. I looked at my inventory as I look to see if I had any mace or bludgeoning weapons Bridge after a few minutes of walking and looking through my inventory I realize I had no such weapons. after all it was a mechanic in this world that if you had the right weapon for the right job and make fighting a lot easier such like having a bludgeoning weapon to fight against an undead because they can't die from blood loss so you had to break their bones and skull to kill them of course an ax to the head would kill them but if you're facing a high level Undead like a vampire you would not be able to really hit their head.

as I looked up from my inventory screen I saw the portal to the undead Barrow I decided I would keep my axes latched onto my belt which would count them being still equipped but I would have to be using my bare hands to fight. thank the gods that I used to be a boxer otherwise I'd probably be a terrible Street brawler as I looked at everyone I began to speak.

" all right everyone get prepared will be facing a lot of Undead today so if you have any bludgeoning weapons equip them or if you have any magic that could be seriously useful against Undead then use it we'll be going with a different compsent Lord Artorias is not here. Mages in a single file line behind me Riku at the back Rogues at the side Amy will be at the dead center."

everyone nodded their heads as we entered the dungeon when we all were in I looked around cracking my knuckles I saw a group of zombies being led by a ghoul. it wasn't uncommon for a evolved monster to command it's lesser brothers. in fact this occurred more often than not mainly because once a monster evolves it gains and crease intelligence and despite the standard Trope of zombie monsters zombies aren't stupid slow yes but not stupid. many transfers had died to zombies because they underestimate their intelligence. but zombies don't have nearly as high as a body count as skeletons mainly because skeletons don't have muscles people believe they're weak which they are but they are far more intelligent than the zombie and typically running groups about 30. well Zombies Run in groups typically of 14 if led by an evolved zombie those group numbers typically increased to 25.

I use my charge attack to Ram into the ghoul with a sucker punch in the head making it fall backwards I noticed then Amy used the spell holy blast it was effective like Shadow Bolt except this used holy energy and it did about three times more damage to Undead. I've known Amy for a long time typically that spell does before our tourist came to our group about six damage ever since we all reached level 9 it does about 20 damage now that it's being used against Undead that 20 became a 60.

which name pretty much instant kill for a zombie. and she started to spam holy blast I just tackled the ghoul and started removing it from the group. well everyone else bombards the group of 25 zombies.

I quickly sucker punched the ghoul would seem to make it stagger but it clenched up its face and took a swing on me. well it's simultaneously roared which temporarily stunned me for a Split Second which was a long enough for it to land the hit making me stumble back a few steps. I remembered I had fun zombies before and they hit pretty hard but Google's being an evolution hate even harder enough to equal a orc during their racial ability berserk activation.l which doubles their damage. I ran back towards the ghoul activating my racial ability berserk and punching the ghoul sending it flying a bit back as I charged continuously towards it I tackled it and continued punching its head as I pinned it to the ground. does racial ability only lasts for about 120 Seconds. which it was a decent racial ability because it doubles the damage output of an orc which is why more often than not when you see a transfer orc they will always be DPS to properly use their racial ability. which it was slightly sad because this racial ability did not apply to Magic. unless that magic was an enhancement type giving you a buff. after 60 seconds had passed I will continue punching the ghoul but it seems like the noise we made attracted more attention from the other monsters and of course as soon as I locked on to them my instincts took over completely and made me charge towards them with the others bombarding them with magic I unconstantly noticed there was a armored skeleton which was a evolved skeleton. as I sucker punched it heading it Square in the head even if it was evolved it was still was a skeleton they could not take much blunt force trauma compared to their zombie brothers. and because of this it instantly killed the skeleton. well I had 40 seconds left of this ability I went to town hitting and punching the remaining 30 skeletons hell I even throw in a few head butts. after my racial ability went on cool down I dropped to my butt and started breathing heavily. I looked around and noticed there was only two items dropped. the first being a staff and the other being close to me a new ax. I knew this ax would be far superior then the both of mine so I decrypt the old ax that I started out with and equipped this new one to replace it it was only an uncommon they already was better than the rare ax I got from the wolf dungeon.

I stayed silent for a bit as I just decided to relax for about a few seconds.
