Thirty-two years later,

After breaking through to the True Awakening realm, Xu Yue continued her seclusion for over thirty years.

As she was sitting crosslegged, a boundless aura could be felt from Xu Yue.

Suddenly, it seemed as if Xu Yue had understood something, the boundless aura that emanated from her body then began slowly retreating inwards, but even so, if a powerful cultivator were to see her right now, they would feel a chill in their hearts.

Even though she looked harmless, it seemed as if life and death had entered Xu Yue's control.

Opening her eyes, Xu Yue slowly let out a smile, after she got up, Xu Yue took a step and instantly appeared outside of her cave abode.

As she looked at the view from the peak, it seemed as if Xu Yue could see something else.

She then turned her head in a particular direction before walking back into her cave abode.

The moment Xu Yue entered her cave abode once more, a shadowy figure finally managed to breathe.

"How is this possible," mumbled the shadowy figure as he remembered the scene from a few moments ago.

He knew that he was stronger than Xu Yue, he was obviously tasked to protect her in secret.

But for some reason, when Xu Yue silently looked in his direction, the shadowy figure felt like an insignificant ant, he felt as if Xu Yue knew of his existence and chose to spare him.

"That's impossible," mumbled the Shadowy figure as he continued standing outside of Yue's cave abode.

"She has a familiar aura," thought the Shadow before immediately disappearing, feeling a large amount of danger.

Inside of the cave abode

As Xu Yue walked into her cave abode, she slowly began melting into the shadows, if the shadowy figure had the authorization to look inside of the abode he would be shocked right now.

Without knowing of his existence, only by looking at the surroundings, Xu Yue had somehow managed to comprehend his technique.

"Going outside and comprehending a technique," mumbled Xu Yue as a slight smile appeared on her face.

"Who would want to protect me," thought Xu Yue as she slowly walked toward Ming Yun's room.

In another location

As Xu Lanfeng watched Xu Yue comprehend a new technique, a frown appeared on her face.

As she watched the new technique Xu Lanfeng began trying to master it.

With her endless accumulation and talent, it only took her a moment to find something wrong.

Suddenly, no one in the Origin Sword Sect could move as Xu Lanfeng instantly appeared outside Xu Yue's cave abode.

But somehow she was too late, it seemed as if the Shadowy figure she had just seen disappeared into nothingness.

"Who can do something like this, and who would even want to?" thought Xu Lanfeng as a scene from the past appeared in front of her.

Sadly, it seemed as if the shadow what being shrouded in darkness, when Xu Lanfeng looked at the past she could not find a trace of it.

"This is quite troublesome, reversing Space-Time inside the Sect isn't an option," mumbled Xu Lanfeng.

Suddenly she felt a familiar aura appear where the Shadow once was.

The world then shattered around Xu Lanfeng as she finally realised she was in an illusion.

"That aura was real," mumbled Xu Lanfeng as a shocked expression appeared on her face.

If anyone had seen this look, they would be shocked, it is said that even if the Heavenly Dao falls and the Three Thousand Regions colapse, Xu Lanfeng would still show not be surprised.

"How Is this possible," thought Xu Lanfeng as she thought of countless possibility.

Suddenly Xu Lanfeng thought of a certain secret her grandfather told her.

"That's the only possibility," thought Xu Lanfeng as she realized the truth.

"It makes sense, this technique is truly quite suitable to hide from the Heavenly Dao," thought Xu Lanfeng as she immediately had several guesses in her mind.

She then disappeared from there mere moments later.

As she did so, the Eye of the Heavenly Dao who was spying on her also disappeared, but unknown to it, a shadowy figure appeared there, somehow managing to hide from it's eyes.

Oblivious to what happened outside, Xu Yue was in deep thought as she examined the technique she had managed to comprehend.

Pondering the technique for a few moments, Xu Yue realized some things.

"This technique isn't focused on hiding from the senses are the Spiritual Sense, rather it aims to hide from something else," thought Xu Yue as she examined the technique.

When focused on the technique, Xu Yue unconsciously did not say anything out loud, only thinking about it.

Inside of an infinite river

A river full of silver liquid seemed to stretch on for eternity, time seemed to have no meaning in this place.

At a certain moment, a light blue light exited the river, seeming having hid from something.

In a mere moment, the light transformed into an Androgynous figure.

"Why is my part of the plan so troublesome," mumbled the figure as it verified that the eye of the Grand Dao had finished it's search and did not find anything.

The figure then looked behind her for a moment before disappearing.

A moment after she disappeared, several enormous dragons looked where she had just stood, near the dragons time seemed to pass at an irregular pace, sometimes, the dragons seemed to have been just born, other times they seemed to have lived for trillions of years.

These were time dragons.

Time dragons are dragons that have managed to be born in the river of time, they are by far the most powerful type of dragon, the weakest of them managing to reach strength at the immortal realm.

Time Dragons inhabit the river of Time, they are the guardians of the river who prevent living beings from traveling through time using it.

Thankfully, the Androgynous figure did not travel through time, as it would have to endure the siege of countless time dragons
