Chapter 58: Cooler!

Neiz and Salza began a coordinated attack on Goku, but even so the power difference was too huge for them to win.

Goku wasn't fighting with his full power, but even a tenth of his total strength would completely overwhelm both soldiers.

'How is it that a mere Saiyan is so powerful?!' Salza wondered, unable to land a single blow on his opponent.

His lord had told them not to trust each other and to be careful with the Saiyan named Son Gohan. But still, this was very disturbing!

Helplessness began to take over his being. He charged up energy blasts and began to launch them at the Saiyan, who deflected them with his aura.

"I already told you that you are no match for us!" Goku exclaimed appearing in front of Salza and hitting him in the stomach with a powerful punch.

"Salza!" Neiz exclaimed seeing his partner spitting blood, "Damn Saiyan, now you'll see!"

Neiz concentrated energy in his hands and shot it at Goku. Then, his body was enveloped by that electrical energy.

"You will die you stupid ape!" Neiz commented smirking as he saw that his attack was highly successful, "W-what the heck?"

But suddenly, Goku raised his Ki eliminating Neiz's electric attack, who was shocked at the power that the Saiyan showed.

And meanwhile Dore had gotten to his feet and started attacking with all his might at Raditz, who dodged each blow with great ease.

"Is that all you know how to do?" Raditz asked smiling and got tired of dodging so much.

PAM!

He elbowed Dore hard in the head breaking his helmet and slammed a knee into his abdomen, knocking the soldier to his knees.

"W-what are you going to do?" asked Dore in a scary tone seeing that Raditz extended his hand a few inches from his face, "Don't kill me!"

"How curious, your face asks me otherwise" Raditz mocked forming a burst of energy in that hand and Dore trembled, "Die worm!"

Raditz fired at point blank range eliminating all trace of Dore. Goku turned his head and the rest of the soldiers did the same, remaining stunned.

"No need to kill him Raditz!" Goku protested but suddenly his older brother appeared in front of him. The two soldiers backed away slowly.

"Shut up you idiot! That trash threatened your son's life, he deserved no mercy" Raditz said with a smirk, "Not everyone can be forgiven!"

He appeared behind Salza and bringing both hands together he delivered an ax blow to his head followed by a kick to Neiz's side.

Raditz took to the sky smiling proudly as that Cooler's two soldiers gradually stood up after being hit.

"Damn you saiyan!" Salza shouted, rising to try to reach the Saiyan and Neiz imitated his friend without wasting any more time.

Raditz smiled as he extended his arms, palms facing the remaining soldiers, "Double Sunday!" the saiyan fired.

Flush!

Two energy spheres came out of his hands simultaneously hitting Salza and Neiz fully, who were not able to stop them.

"AHHH!" was the cry that both emitted being consumed by Raditz's attack and thus disappeared from the face of the Earth.

Raditz landed slowly shaking the dust off his hands, "Have you seen Kakarot? That's how I fight, learn to finish the job!"

Goku stuck out his tongue at him but he scowled when he felt a monstrous Ki in the sky. His eyes widened as he took a good look at that silhouette.

"I see that they were able to defeat my soldiers, not bad for simple monkeys" the silhouette then descended from the sky quickly.

Goku and Raditz were left speechless recognizing the features of the being in front of them. "It can't be... are you Frieza?!"

"I'm his older brother, Cooler" that being responded to Goku's words, "I've come to avenge him, damn apes"

"Don't tell me we've hurt your feelings" Raditz smiled crossing his arms, "Do you want to avenge your brother?"

"I want to avenge my family, some miserable insects can't beat the frost demons, the most powerful race in this universe!"

"As soon as I eliminate the Saiyans, I will conquer the universe. I will continue the work that Frieza and my father Cold left behind" Cooler answered with a smile.

"If you're so homesick, I'd better send you to the Otherworld with them!" Raditz exclaimed, flying swiftly towards the frost demon.

"Don't attack him Raditz!" Goku tried to stop his brother, who extended his arm to hit Cooler's jaw but Cooler dodged such an attack.

"You don't fight that bad Saiyan, but I'm not as forgiving as Frieza" Cooler smirked before slamming his fist into Raditz's stomach.

Raditz spat out blood and backed away. His pupils turned gold before he reappeared before Cooler and elbowed him viciously in the chin.

Flush!

The demon shot into the air, and with his arms outstretched, Raditz created waves of energy that propelled Cooler even higher.

'I see! He wants to get him away so this fight doesn't affect our house. Well thought out Raditz' Goku inquired smiling as he followed closely behind them.

And after a few minutes they reached a mountain landscape where there was a large waterfall and several cliffs. Goku landed on one of them.

Cooler stopped on a rock in the river while Raditz was in front of him. "You had much more power inside you, right?"

"And from what I see this is your final form, that means you don't have any more transformations left" Raditz said confidently.

He was up to date on the involutions of the cold demons. And judging by Cooler's appearance, this had to be his true form.

And so it was, Cooler was in his final form. He had no problem controlling it because his power wasn't as immense as Frieza's.

"In theory, my brother was born with higher potential, that's why my father Cold inherited the empire from him. But they didn't know one thing!"

"That the potential means nothing if you don't perfect it, that's why I trained for a year and obtained a power far superior to Frieza's"

"I was not interested in my father's empire, so I created my army. But now that they are gone, I will take over the universe!" Cooler cried.

That was his ambition. And if he came to this planet, it was to kill all those who would represent a threat to his plans.

These words surprised the Saiyan brothers, was it true that he was more powerful than Frieza? No, that had to be a joke.

"I won't let you get away with it!" Goku exclaimed raising his Ki but Cooler suddenly expelled a brutal aura that made him step back.

"H-how?" Raditz muttered stunned at the amount of power the demon was overflowing with.

Cooler increased his height and musculature even more, he grew four horns on his head adopting a shape similar to a crown, and one on each armband of his arms. His eyes turned completely red.

"This is my true power" Cooler declared before a retractable mask appeared on the lower part of his face, covering him.

Flush!

Raditz was stunned as the frost demon appeared in front of him with shattering speed leaving him with no escape.

BOOM!

Cooler's knee hit his abdomen and a powerful kick to his face sent his body crashing against some nearby rocks.

"Raditz!" Goku exclaimed worriedly but he didn't have time for more because Cooler flew towards him at frightening speed, "Kaio-ken times ten!"

Goku rose to the sky dodging the blow that Cooler tried to deal him, but to his surprise the demon quickly appeared behind him.

"Times fifteen!" Goku screamed turning around trying to hit him but Cooler easily parried that attack and squeezed his forearm.

"What's wrong? Is this your full power?" Cooler asked with disappointment but suddenly a kick to the cheek forced him to step back, "So tough"

Raditz stood next to his brother, who was massaging his wrist in pain. "Kakarot! It seems that he is more powerful than Frieza"

It had only taken one hit for him to notice. And if that wasn't enough, Cooler wasn't messing around, he was less trusting than Frieza.

"I know, and Gohan isn't here…ugh" Goku spoke with a bitter smile, "Okay, what's the plan?"

"The plan? Attack him with our full power" Raditz answered and Goku smiled hearing him.

"Well, I like that plan"

Cooler began to walk towards the pair of brothers, who wasted no time raising his power to the maximum using his hole cards.

Then they both took flight towards Cooler. Goku with the Kaio-ken times twenty, and Raditz using the Ikari mode, had raised his power to the limit.

And so, they began to attack the frost demon, who dodged the attacks without much trouble despite the great power of the Saiyan brothers.

But unlike the battle on Namek, they now fought better coordinated as a result of training over the past few months.

PAM!

Cooler blocked Raditz's fist with his forearm and did the same with Goku's attack, who gritted his teeth helplessly.

"I already understand why my little brother had trouble against you, but you are far from being able to beat me!" Cooler spoke confidently.

Such confidence came out when he kicked Goku hard in the stomach and grabbed Raditz's neck, depriving him of breath.

You're kind of strong! But you guys aren't Super Saiyans like that monkey named Son Gohan who killed my brother" Cooler pointed out suddenly.

If he had come to Earth it was precisely to finish him off, since he was the greatest threat to his universal conquest plan. I had to kill him!

"You're just trash next to my nephew" Raditz sneered with a weak smile and Cooler didn't seem to like that, "Arghh!"

Cooler tightened his grip on the Saiyan's neck, and just as he prepared to deliver the killing blow, a Ki blast hit him.

PAM!

Cooler spun around and then a hard punch slammed into his cheek, dragging him a few feet. Goku stood next to Raditz.

"Are you okay?" he asked him.

"I've been worse" Raditz replied wiping the blood on his lips, "Come on, we must attack!"

Goku nodded. He extended his left arm, while Raditz did the same but with his right arm, and they both raised his powers.

"Double..."

"... Kamehameha!"

A pink blast came from Raditz's hand and a blue one from Goku's hand. The two attacks ended up merging into a single shot.

Cooler didn't seem upset at any point. What's more, he parried the attack with a single hand, completely neutralizing it.

"H-how?!" Goku and Raditz yelled in bewilderment. But suddenly, Cooler appeared in front of them with two energy blasts in both hands.

BOOM!

Cooler hit the Ki blasts at point-blank range sending Goku crashing into some rocks and Raditz to the riverbank. Both seriously injured.

"They're tough, but they're still stupid monkeys after all" Cooler took to the sky ready to destroy the planet without further delay.

Well, apparently the Saiyan he had come to look for was not present, so he had no point in continuing on this insignificant planet.

"My revenge will not be complete until I finish off that monkey, I will quickly destroy the Earth!" Cooler exclaimed, raising a finger to the sky.

Flush!

But suddenly, an energy blaster hit him head-on. After a few seconds, he saw a white-cloaked being leaning next to Goku and Raditz.

"Who are you vermin?" Cooler demanded.

"I'm the one who killed your father Cold" this being turned around and Cooler was surprised. He was none other than Piccolo! The Super Namekian came to the rescue!
