New Class Based System

Four days passed in a blink of an eye. What had transpired in the Kingdom of Veland slowly started to spread to the nearby kingdoms. Fear and dread occupied the hearts of each and every criminal and supervillain who terrorized these kingdoms. For the first time, the evildoers lived in fear, expecting the Reaper to arrive at their kingdom any moment. Some people prayed for the Reaper to cleanse their kingdom of criminals, while some prayed to the gods for the Reaper never to come.

Meanwhile, in the Blazemier empire, people were rallying toward Raven city. The city of Raven was built at the base of a rugged mountain and was truly a leading-edge wonder. Its appearance was matched by the backdrop of grand forests, which helped shape the city into what it is today. The materials these forests brought were of great importance, but they were also influential when it came to architectural designs, as the vast majority of buildings have been built with both materials and stylistic shapes of the forests.

The skyline was packed with tall skyscrapers, and even from afar, they managed to display their beauty. Technology was thriving in Raven City, and it attracted a lot of attention. Countless cultures left their mark not just on education but also on the city's identity. What historically was a city of no variation had grown into a multicultural hub. It's this multicultural identity that has truly left its mark. Hundreds of businesses, restaurants, and inns offered anything one could want or need. Most importantly, the City of Raven was the home to the Supremes, the band of the most powerful superheroes in the world.

Today was a special day, not only for the city of Raven but also for everyone in the world. The UFH announced they would hold a public ceremony where they would reveal the new class system for the superheroes and villains, along with a few other important announcements. But that was not the reason for thousands of people to head toward the city instead of witnessing the event in the projections. The reason was all the Supremes would be on the stage. The people wanted to see their favorite superheroes with their own eyes.

The entire city was in a festive mood. In the center of the city, the UFH built the grandest stage in all Blazemier. They went all in with the construction. Hundreds of seats were built around the stage for rich nobles to sit and enjoy the event. The commoners had to stay behind a golden fence built around the nobles. To make everyone's experience as less infuriating as possible, UFH built several projection stones to live-cast the event.

The entire place was crowded in a few minutes. But they were almost waiting for two hours after the first light for UFH to start the event. No one could hear a word of what the other person was saying due to all the noise and sounds. Despite the scorching sun, the crowd cheered and looked excited about the event. Finally, a large shade was suddenly cast down on the crowd. They all looked up to see a dark flying ship descending down from the sky.

The ship was at least 1500 feet long and 900 feet wide. The rumbling sounds made by the ship silenced the crowd immediately. They all stared at the ship with their mouths wide open. Many people gasped in utter shock and surprise. The stage and the surrounding area trembled slightly due to the ship's sheer power. Slowly, the ship opened up in the middle, revealing several soldiers dressed in complete silver knight armor. They used ropes to descend on the stage. Each of them was armed to the teeth and big enough to break an average man in half. The soldiers quickly went to stand at the edge, forming a human chain around the main stage. After the soldiers went to their posts, a man dressed in a brown long coat and matching brown pants. He was a dark-skinned man with not a single hair on his head. The man looked wise, brave, and an embodiment of leadership. His two swords dangled on his waist as he gracefully made his way to the stage's center.

The crowd went absolutely silent. He glanced at the crowd for a moment. Everyone was on the verge of their seats, expecting him to speak. Except for some naive commoners, everyone in Blazemier knew this man, the director of UFH, Chandler Stonewick. Most people knew him as General Chandler. He controlled every operation in UFH. It was his job to make the tough calls no one else could, and he learned to trust his instincts and follow his principles.

Although he was the director, no one knew whether he was a gifted one or not. Not a single person had seen him use any superpowers. As far as everyone was concerned, his superpower was leadership. Following General Chandler, a young woman with striking blonde hair landed on the stage beside him. Calling her an alluring beauty would be an understatement. In the tight leather dress, she looked gorgeous. Many youngsters drooled, but she didn't even bother to look at them. All her focus was on General Chandler. She grabbed a tubular crystal hanging on her waist and handed it over to Chandler.

"Ladies and gentlemen," General Chandler had a thick voice, perfectly suiting his physical look.

"I am honored to welcome you all to his event," his voice sounded across the stage. Slowly, the airship above them floated away, letting the sunlight fall on the crowd once again.

"After a long consideration and months of planning, the UFH has decided to classify the gifted ones using a class-based system," General Chandler didn't beat around the bush. He was a man of few words.

"Previously, we divided the superheroes as Special Humans, Enhanced Humans, Super Humans, and the Supremes. These classifications often caused confusion among people, and many walked in between these classes, making them categorizing a difficult task," He paused for a moment.

"Every gifted one in Etheria will be categorized into the following categories, C class, B class, A class, and finally, the most powerful ones will be put into the S class," said Chandler.

Many people looked a bit bewildered, but Chandler couldn't care less. The whole new class thing was the idea of the round table that controls the UFH from the shadows. As far as Chandler was concerned, it was a waste of time and resources to find a new classification instead of actually fighting the supervillains out there. Times like this made Chandler hate being the director.

"We have put together a book containing all your favorite heroes and supervillains and which class they belonged to. The prices are to be decided by the kings and queens," Chandler paused for a moment.

"I can't do this," Chandler said, moving the amplifier away from his mouth. He handed it over to the blonde girl and took a step back.

The girl seemed to have expected this. So she took the amplifier with an alluring smile and glanced at the crowd.

"I know you're all waiting to see the Supremes," The moment she uttered the word, the crowd went crazy. Their thunderous roar caused the ground to tremble. They continued to cheer for a couple of minutes.

"Let us celebrate the imprisonment of Caragax with the Supremes themselves,"

The sky rumbled as dark clouds shrouded the scorching sun. They all looked up at the sky to see a crimson-red trail approaching them like a meteor. Lightning streaks flashed across the sky. When the light reached the stage, everyone saw a man floating in the sky. He wore crimson red armor, fitting his body perfectly to the point the armor looked like a part of him. The armor was a powered exoskeleton with metal plating, capable of enhancing the wearer's strength, speed, agility, and endurance.

Behind the armor was a man named Roland Masters, a genius, one of the richest men in Etheria, and the leader of Supremes.

"Steel Soldier!" The people roared. He landed on the stage with a small thud. Seeing the response, he waved his hand. His helmet opened up automatically, revealing his perfectly sculpted, handsome face. With hazel eyes, shoulder-length raven-black hair, and an alluring smile, he was not only blessed with a genius brain but also with good looks.

Following Roland Masters, they saw another one flying toward them. This time, it was a giant red ball, except it was a gigantic, red, mutated humanoid monster. Despite his look and anger issues, the people loved him as much as they feared him.

"Goliath!"

People screamed. Once he had landed on the stage, the force shook the entire stage. He growled, looking angry at everyone.

"Hey buddy," Roland Masters winked at Goliath. One could even see a puff of hot steam escaping Goliath's nostrils. The people were in high spirits seeing their heroes one by one. After Roland Masters and Goliath, a due dressed in black leather armor appeared out of nowhere. One was a woman who held a long bow and quiver on her back while the other was a short haired man who was no different than a typical man. The red haired woman was just as gorgeous as Athena, Chandler's second in command.

The duo joined Roland Masters and Goliath on the stage. Suddenly, the storm clouds hovering about them rumbled. The streaks of lightning in the sky increased significantly. They were all afraid of a heavy downspout. But to their surprise, instead of heavy rain, a man shot through the storm clouds, leaving a trail of crackling thunder bolts behind him.

Boom!

The man landed on the stage in a few blinks of an eye. Lightning bolts danced around his body. He was taller than an average human and muscular enough to impress anyone. His hands were the size of a man's thighs. The man held a long Warhammer, covered in lightning. Even his eyes shot tiny bolts of lightning. His striking blond hair fluttered in the wind. Looking at the cheering crowd, he waved with a wide grin. He looked up at the sky as the storm clouds slowly disappeared. Among the Supremens, he was the most powerful gifted one, Sven Asgeirsson, the king of the storms.

"Unfortunately, Oliver Jones won't be joining us," Many people looked disappointed, especially girls.

With the Supremes on the stage, Chandler was finally able to start the event. He couldn't wait to get this over with.
