6. I will find out about you soon.

'Hahaha... Hahaha...' The laughs made her shiver. She was sweating so much as she heard those laughs in her dream.

'Alden... Come on... Stop there. Don't tease me.' Ida said, running behind Alden.

'No, My love. Catch me and then I will give you this gift.' Alden replied as he ran while Ida ran behind him.

They both were laughing out loud while running around the garden.

'Come on... Stop there. Or else, I won't talk with you!' Ida said as she stopped making a pout. Alden chuckled and walked towards her.

'Oh my beautiful girlfriend. Here you go.' Alden said as he handed her the gift.

'Aww... Thank you.' Ida replied as she kissed his check, and he laughed. She immediately opened the gift and her eyes widened in shock as she saw the bracelet with stars hanging.

'Oh my god. It's so beautiful. Is this for me?' Ida asked and Alden scrunched his face at her.

'No, I clearly bought it to throw across the plains.' while speaking he took out the bracelet from the box.

He took her hand and slipped it onto her wrist,

'It suits you so well.' Alden said as he kissed her knuckles, making her hug him tightly.

'Thank you so much for this gift. I love it and I love you so much too!' Ida said with a bright smile hugging him and kissed his cheek.

"No..." Ida yelled as she opened her eyes and got up from the bed.

"No. I hate you, Alden. I hate you so much." Ida yelled as sweat rolled down from her forehead. Then she realised that it was just a dream. Her fists curled. A memory that she used to cherish a lot but now, she hated it.

"I hate you, Alden." Ida repeated for what seemed to be the 50th time. She tried to calm herself down while taking a deep breath.

She got up from the bed and looked down at the time which shows 5:30 am.

She sighed as she straightly walked inside the restroom.

She looked at herself in the mirror as she washed her face and sighed.

She used to be cared for like a princess. Her face, which used to bloom so beautifully, lost its beauty.

She pressed her eyelids, testing how bad the bruises were. They were swollen purple. When she opened them her eyes that used to mesmerize everyone lost its spark, they were bloodshot and wild.

She had forgotten her innocent smile. Her cheeks which used to glow lost their shine. She used to look like a beautiful butterfly... But, now. She looks so pale.

Her personality which used to shine bright around everyone now feels reflected a rock. Her heart refused to accept the fact that her parents had passed away.

"It's been almost 2 weeks since I lost my parents. Every day... I have nightmares of my parents burning in the flames or about you." Ida told herself, fixing flaw after flaw she kept finding in herself in the mirror.

"I'm gonna find you and hunt you down, Alden. It just matters of time but when I finally find you. I will make sure you bear the consequences for everything that you made me lose. I promise to find you." Ida said as she took a deep breath.

After cleaning herself, she walked out of her room. She saw that few of the members of the foster care were already up.

She looked around the house while walking outside.

The foster care house was a lot smaller compared to her old home. She has lived in a mansion like a literal princess since the day she was born but had always been brought up being grateful for everything she had.

However Ida still felt like she had taken everything for granted, especially since it had also been taken away so quickly. She was basically an orphan now. She hardly minded the plainness of the tiny rooms. She'd barely processed her parents' death enough to worry about meaningless materialistic things.

She sat down in the garden as she took in fresh air in the early morning.

"What are you doing here in the early morning?" A sudden voice made her startled but she very well knows whose voice is and it's none other than Laura.

The only one who Ida became fond of in this last 2 weeks is Laura.

"Good morning." Laura said with a smile as she sat beside her on the chair.

"Morning." Ida replied with a small smile.

"Nightmare again?" Laura questioned pitying her and Ida nodded her head yes. Laura kept her hand on Ida's and patted it.

Just then, a servant walked towards them and kept the newspaper on the table making Ida quickly take it.

She went through the newspaper so quickly as if trying to find something.

Laura frowned as usual. Since the next day she talked to Ida, she started to read the newspaper.

But it didn't look like Ida was reading a newspaper but as if she was trying to find something and sometimes, she just took the newspaper to her room.

Laura has no idea why she wanted it. Everytime, she tried to ask... Ida just gave her silly reasons.

But there is nothing else suspicious that she can see in Ida. So she just let it go. But since the last few days, Laura saw her zoning out sometimes. She thought that her parents' death might have affected her so badly to the point of insanity.

Watching once parents dying in front of you is not easy. It needs lots of strength to cope up with it but Ida is too strong. Laura is glad that she didn't try to do something silly with herself.

"I think Mr. Bernard is going to visit you today... Right?" Laura asked as Ida's head was still buried in the newspaper but suddenly, she raised her head up at her.

"Ohh. Yes. I am waiting for him too! I just have... So much to talk with him. I can't wait to know about them all!" Ida replied as she kept the newspaper down and got up, walking inside leaving a confused Laura alone.

"It's today or never. I need to know everything about them from Mr. Bernard." Ida said to herself as she looked at the files she had been cutting off a few pictures from the newspaper for.

"I don't have much information but... I just know that, they know my Dad. There is something between him and my Dad. If I get to know more about him from Mr. Bernard then I can take his help to find out about Alden." Ida said to herself as she looked down at the file where there are a few cut out pictures which were taken from the newspaper.

Ida had been trying to cope up with her parents death but it was hard for her. But she realised that, rather than crying for her parents death, She has to find out about the one who killed them! Crying is just waste of time... And so, she decided to find things in her own way.

"I will find out about you soon, Alden." Ida vowed.
