Insomnia

The sound of the alarm made Maddie stir as it went off. It was morning already and Maddie knew she had to get off bed if she wanted to be at work on time, but she couldn't get herself to stand up just yet, so instead, she reached for the alarm which was ringing for the third time and snoozed it yet again.

She spent the night at Trevor's place. And one of the so many things she likes about his place is his comfortable bed. Compared to the one in the apartment she used to share with Ava, Trevor's bed was large and comfortable, making her always want to sleep in, every time she comes around.

"You know, at some point, you would have to get up right?" Trevor said from behind her, his arm wrapped around her waist, his face on the crook of her neck.

Maddie buried her face deeper in her pillow. "I just need a little more sleep," she mumbled. She could hear a soft laugh escape Trevor's lips.
