Personal Assistant, Approved!

Shana listened intently to what Marion had to say. Things she didn't even notice and didn't remember the details of. After all, she had never let herself sleep with any man, and it was so easy to snatch away the things she had been keeping all this time in one night, it was really hard to believe.

"Don't you feel anything at all, Marion? Uhm ... I mean, when that guy pokes ... you know what I mean, right?" Shana was honestly awkward talking about this thing with her best friend because she knew Marion very well. 'The cave girl' who seemed to have never known anything other than working, eating, sleeping, defecating and ... repeat—which must have been things in general.

Indeed, having sex is a common thing that is impossible not to be known by most people. Especially when you're a teenager, there must have been desires that struggled to be channelled. However, believe me, Marion doesn't even seem to understand it all.

"What? Stabbing what? Speak clearly, Shana, you're making me even dizzier."

Shana slapped her forehead, realizing that maybe she was imagining it too far, or explaining in a language that a nice girl like Marion couldn't understand.

"Gosh! Okay, well ... I'll explain to you in detail and clearly. However, promise me you won't throw up, okay. Because it's a natural thing to happen when a girl like you is explained about sensual things like this. Okay, here we go!"

Shana straightened her body, then looked into Marion's eyes intensely, making sure that the girl was paying close attention to what she was about to say.

"You know, we—women—must have ... Uhm...." Shana moved her hand in an abstract shape that made Marion frown.

"What are you trying to say? Just say it, Shana, I'm a grown woman, I'll understand."

"But in fact, you don't understand. That, look! You still roll your eyes when I say the word 'stab' and … ah, never mind. This is already too much. So, Marion, don't you feel pain when a blunt object dives into your 'that'?"

"Oh my God! You mean if we do 'that'?"

Shana nodded. "YES! THAT! Do you get what I mean? Thank goodness ...."

Marion looked stunned for a moment as if trying to remember what she felt when the incident happened. From what she remembered, it was a voluntary, or consensual event—could she say so?

"I ... feel pain, but no, Shana. I can't say if this was an act of coercion. This isn't rape, you know what I mean, right? Maybe because I was drunk, so I don't really remember and feel anything."

Shana shrugged.

"Glad you realize that this is also your wish. Because if this is indeed an act of rape, we have to report the culprit. And . . . that, the coat. I think it can be evidence so you can find out who is the lucky man who managed to have the honor of opening your 'sacred seal'," joked Shana, followed by an echoing laugh.

However, Marion immediately responded with an annoyed clapping.

"Damn you! Well, let's just say I'm out of the cave now and enjoying life. But, of course, this is very strange." Marion then took off her shirt, revealing several claw marks and other strange wounds left on several parts of her body. "Do you think this is reasonable too?"

Shana was astonished to see what was in front of her. "Oh, no. This isn't natural. Looks like you're in trouble, Marion."

***

Marion was ready in her best look for today. Luckily she didn't go along with the crazy things that Shana suggested, otherwise she would definitely look like an idiot by now, even though some of the other waiting employees like her were wearing skimpy clothes and some of them were even barely unclothed.

Marion only frowned as she scanned the women one by one. However, in her heart, she was grateful, because maybe she would not pass the selection to become William Reynz's assistant.

That would be better.

While waiting anxiously, occasionally tapping her flat shoes on the marble floor below, one of the male employees who looked like a bodyguard finally called out Marion's name.

"Miss Marionette Alsen."

Damn it! Why was she so lucky to get first place? What dream did she dream last night?

No, no! It didn't seem like a dream that brought her bad luck today, but what she had done with the mysterious man she met at the party. Was she currently enjoying karma, because she broke her oath to protect herself and gave her virginity to a stranger she would never see again?

Marion shook her head hard, trying to get rid of whatever thoughts were currently running through her head, trying to neutralize thoughts for fear that her boss would be exactly what people described—able to read other people's minds.

The girl then got up, then stepped hesitantly, knocked three times on the door of her boss-to-be's room, then swung her steps into the super-wide room with her jaw hanging open.

"Please have a seat, Miss Alsen," the man ordered, without turning his body which was facing the large window that gave a view of the city from above. Showing majestic buildings that in the end only looks as big as a fingernail.

Marion sat across from her future boss's chair. If she was lucky, the man would immediately reject her without further ado. However, if she becomes the chosen candidate, then she is finished!

Therefore, in her heart, Marion kept on muttering the prayers or spells her late grandmother had taught her to ward off ghosts and bad luck. Even though her father once said that it was just a myth, strangely Marion continued to do it, as if it would work.

The tall, well-built man turned around. Just looking at the side of his jaw had succeeded in making Marion hold her breath to keep it from making a sound and turning into an embarrassing sigh. She was familiar with the man in front of her, although his facial appearance was not very clear, but she was sure she had ever met the man.

The man was now face to face with her, which made Marion's heart almost skip a beat. Flashbacks of the events of the night of the party came back wildly, like a slideshow that she couldn't control. Surprisingly, the incident only stopped where she vomited her guts, then, it was just a black screen that didn't show any images.

The man gave a cold smile and sat in his majestic chair while not letting go of the gaze that locked the hazel beads of the brown-haired girl in front of him.

"Y-you ...." Marion couldn't say anything other than muttering in disbelief. Meanwhile, the man with an expressionless face remained calm and seemed to hypnotize Marion until she just stood there without blinking.

"Good morning, Miss Alsen. I am William Reynz. From now on, you are my personal assistant who will manage everything from the office to the home."

"No way."
