Indecisive decisiveness

A kick to my side-

Ouch- that hurt but-

Whip!

I returned the favor-

A solid kick.

"Argh-!" She groaned, still standing firm.

Ow- that was some tough armor.

But-

"So, some random god is after me this time… hmmm… Great I guess."

Forcing her to step back, I grabbed my sword with both hands. 'An apostle… hmm…' I still didn't know a lot cause most of the god and apostle things were just considered myths and no one really knew much- so killing her right here meant I'd be losing more than gaining…. Actually, was there much to gain in the first place?

She didn't use any particular magic or anything. So, I didn't either.

Why?

It'd been so long I practiced my actual swordsmanship that I was starting to forget a bit….

So yeah, just practicing.

Besides… her style seemed vaguely familiar… and I kind of didn't want to kill her… yet.
