A Vacation

Lóng Wei met Xiaoming before the evening and handed him a few documents. "The illegal work that he did while staying as the second-rank official," he informed Xiaoming. 

"The Crown Prince has to make sure that Kang Huijuan gets the death sentence tomorrow. He killed the master of the Crown Princess to wipe all such evidence. These documents will be enough for the Crown Prince to bring an end to his life," Lóng Wei stated. 

Xiaoming nodded his head. However, he had a doubt. "Why does Brother Lóng Wei not show these documents to our father himself? Why does he want me to do this?" Xiaoming squinted his eyes in suspicion. 

"I will not be present in the court tomorrow. Li Hua and I are heading to a nearby town," Lóng Wei replied. 

"Where are you both going? Did Brother Lóng Wei take permission from the royal father?" He asked.
