Get Out Of The House

Neil stood behind the door to his room and stiffened. He gripped the bag perched on his shoulder tightly, his ears plugged into the conversation that Neil had overheard earlier between his father and Skylar around the room speaking quietly, probably on purpose so Neil wouldn't hear it.

"Father, I don't want to mind other people's business." This time Skylar sounded quite loud and sounded harsh. Skylar then continued, "It's up to them to want to do what's important that doesn't interfere with my life."

"You can get him out of here, he's already littering our house. He thinks Dad doesn't know what they're doing." This time Raihan spoke making Neil's knees go weak.

"Father simply ignores him. He's weak who's going to accommodate him?"

Knowing very well who they were talking about, their footsteps were getting further and further away until they couldn't be heard at all. Neil took a deep breath of his room air as the atmosphere of his room was getting heavier and heavier.

Neil shook his head slowly to break his wandering thoughts and let out a ragged breath, he had guessed what would happen. This is just a dimension behind the mirror, what about Neil's life in reality when he faces his father later. Neil was too embarrassed to even show his face. His father must have been ashamed to have a deviant son like Neil at this time.

Neil grabbed the doorknob and prepared to face the cruel world of mirrors. Neil had promised himself to be so stupid and uncaring that this shouldn't affect him as much as it is now.

Neil descended the stairs quickly and stopped when his father called him from the dining room. Neil couldn't help but come closer to hear more clearly what he was going to say.

"Pack your things quickly, before two days you have to leave here," Raihan said flatly without further ado. It was enough to make Neil's heart feel like it was squeezing hard when he heard his father shoo him away so easily.

"I'll pack up now and leave as soon as possible," Neil said no less flatly and coldly, he was proud of his current self when Neil could be calm like this and he wouldn't waver at least now. Don't.

"Don't waste time, we're fed up with you. If you have shame, don't come back here and become a parasite," said Raihan again like a razor blade that slashed his chest. "You are no longer part of this family."

Neil smiled weakly even though his hands were tightly squeezed at his sides with various emotions raging. "Daddy thank you for being my dad and thank you for being my twin Skylar, I never regret ever being a part of you guys. I'm leaving."

Neil smiled back at Raihan and Skylar he left there quickly without taking anything from his room, he left with himself. Neil still vaguely heard their conversation behind him.

"Why did you throw him out? I told you not to Dad, he can't do anything at all."

Raihan's next tone sounded a little annoyed at Skylar. "He can sell himself to all the gay men out there. That's disgusting."

Neil kicked the original stone with the toe of his shoe which had been covered with dust, walking slowly to his school he enjoyed the fresh morning air that entered his lungs. Neil was somehow relieved at this moment, the school's weight on his shoulders lifted.

Even though he had been kicked out of Neil's house, at least it wasn't a burden for them anymore. There was no longer a burden on Neil's mind and a constant feeling of guilt in his mind. Because now he was no longer a part of them.

Neil never thought that he would be homeless in his youth like now. This time Neil thought, where will he sleep tonight?

How does he make money? This is not Neil's place, he doesn't recognize anyone here other than Riksa, Faiz, and Michelia.

However, how could Neil ask them for help, when they have their problems. So, Neil decided that it was his last day at school, maybe. Because Neil now has to pay for his life and make himself happy.

Neil saw the motorbike slowing down next to him, he automatically turned his head to see Faiz's figure perched there. He immediately remembered Sain who forbade him to meet Faiz and Neil didn't want Sain to be angry with him, Neil felt very sorry for Sain at that time and didn't want to do it again.

Neil walked quickly leaving Faiz behind him. However, Faiz didn't seem to notice that Neil was avoiding him.

"Neil?" called Faiz in between Neil's wide strides.

However, Neil still ignored Faiz and chose to walk quickly ignoring him. The man still hasn't given up chasing Neil on a slow-moving motorbike. Neil was uncomfortable, he was afraid that Sain would see him with Faiz at this time which would surely cause a misunderstanding between them.

"Neil?" call Faiz again.

Neil shook his head and stopped walking, he directly faced Faiz with Neil's sharp gaze that he saw from Sain. Neil then said quickly, "What do you want? Leave me alone, find someone else to meddle with. I don't want to."

"What's the matter with you, Neil? Since when can you say this?" Faiz asked sounding surprised and confused, Neil himself didn't know when he had changed.

"What's your real problem, Faiz? Please don't bother me anymore, I'm being nice to you because you are Skylar's best friend. Now go." Neil became flustered for a moment as Faiz seemed reluctant to run away from Neil's line of sight. Neil's eyes occasionally roamed the highway, afraid that Sain would see him suddenly.

"Did something happen?"

"Faiz, go away. I want to be alone, our paths are different. You want to go to the real world I want to stay here. Just pretend you don't know me."

"What did you just say? Do you want to stay here alone? Don't talk nonsense, Neil." This time Faiz grabbed Neil's arm to stop. Neil's eyes widened when Faiz came into contact with his skin.

Neil had heard Sain speak on that rainy night when Sain was angry with Neil, at that time Neil was in Sain's arms. Sain suddenly spoke to him "No one else should touch you but me unless you are in real danger. I always knew, Neil. Every touch someone else made to you, I know."

"So if someone else touches you and you let it. I will punish you, Neil. Until you beg me to stop. If you want to try then do it."

Neil blinked and quickly swatted Faiz's hand away from him.

Neil's anger rose right then and there. "Don't touch me."
