"Hmm?"

Suddenly, Vardes halted in his tracks as he noticed something.

"Hey, Sasha. Do you feel this too?"

While shifting his gaze at Sasha, he asked.

"Hmm? Feel what—!"

Sasha's voice trailed off as she suddenly sensed an enormous amount of pessimistic energy from the surroundings.

"Vardes, something isn't right. We better hurry."

"What's the hurry, kids?"

"?!"

Both of them reacted to an unfamiliar voice.

They shifted their attention to their right and noticed a monstrous figure approaching them.

*Clink!*

When they saw his movement, they both took out their blades and stood guard.

"Heh!"

That person snickered and cracked his knuckles, saying,

"What amusing toys I get."

"Who are you?"

Vardes asked while scowling at that person.

"Hehe, I'm a delivery man, Kim."

Then, he showed his right palm at them, proclaiming,

"And I'm here to deliver you death!"
