Chapter 71 - Unexpected encounter

Caelum stared down at the enormous creature before him that was a mixture of scale and fur that was akin to a fox with a tail that was reminiscent of one. The size was smaller than other dragons that he had seen so far yet had a considerable amount of magical energy with an addition of another form of energy other than just Ethernano. 

He peered even further, finding that it was more stronger and abundant than Ethernano. Caelum grew curious about the source of this magical energy that was different from Mana and Ethernano or even Aether. This made him use [ Perfect World ] to scan the memory of his opponent and find more than he anticipated.

"I'm flattered that even the Moon Dragon Goddess knows of me."

The one and only female dragon god was before him. He learned the reason she confronted him was to see if he was an enemy or not. She seems wary of other dragon gods who might be a threat to her and wishes to kill them before they could kill her. Of course this was not the only reason and merely curious for his origin having sensed his presence for being an otherworlder. 

Hearing his words made her laugh, fascinated by the way he devoured her attack and only knows that dragons are the one capable of devouring magical energy. She tried to gauge his strength yet was more excited to find that there was some energy that was a mystery to her. 

However, it was clear that day that he was more powerful than he displayed. She could feel the urge to bow down and please him the best she could. The idea was not a bad thing in her eyes considering dragons aim for stronger mates than anything.

"Archeapeiron, Dragon god of dragons words of your achievement reach far and wide. I was interested to see such a creature capable of unifying humans and dragons, and I must say I am not the slightest disappointed. "

To her knowledge, Dragons bow to no one even like her dragons would refuse and fight till the end yet this creature had such charisma of both human and dragon. They were stubborn creatures till the end and that was their nature.

"My name is Caelum Mercer and that is merely a title I gave myself. That aside, are you gonna take a human form or remain a dragon?"

"Oh you know that I have human form?"

"Rumors have their truth. Additionally, I'm not one to doubt someone as powerful as you to remain in such confining form."

She didn't say anything, merely began to glow in bluish light and gradually grew smaller, turning into the appearance of a buxom and a curvaceous woman with her long blonde hair extending to her hips. For attire, Selene dons a loose kimono with fur lining on the top while also having flower designs all over it as well as zigzag lines on its edges. 

The back of her kimono has another layer of cloth with no intricate designs. Her head is covered by a hood adorned with an upward crescent moon with a gem on top as well as a pair of wings on each side. She also has a pair of socks while wearing wooden sandals.

'That's something….'

He couldn't help but comment at her beauty that was comparable to Irene and his girls. She looks divine, for lack of better words and seems to display elegance more than anything. Selene noticed his gaze move closer and got close enough to pressed her body against his. Caelum let her get closer knowing full well that she doesn't have any desire to kill or even harm him. 

"Have you been charmed by my beauty?"

"It's tempting but I can't trust you, can I?"

"Fufufu aren't you a troublesome man? Then let me ask bluntly, what is your goal being here, Otherworlder?"

"I am a simple man…or a dragon? Actually I don't know why I am. Regardless, my goal get stronger, get girls, fuck and have fun." 

Caelum gave a plain and simple answer yet he was more ambitious than he showed, aiming to transcend any boundaries in hope to be strong enough to protect and save those important to him. The vast reality that his ignorance only grew and his power is miniscule compared to them. 

"Fufufu I didn't expect such an answer for a person like yourself, But this only made me more interested in what kind of creature you truly are."

"You're welcome to know, However, there is also a reason why I am here in this continent."

"What would that be? To slay the other dragon gods?"

"Unfortunately, I am forced not to and merely here to subdue them."

Selene would have thought he was a mad man if she had not personally met him knowing full well that other dragon gods are as strong as her or even greater depending on the circumstances. She could feel his immense strength and by his presence alone could dominate them without much trouble. 

Her hands run through his body in a seductive and alluring body letting him see through her clothes. Caelum remained unfazed yet the [ Harem Parameter ] activated showing that she would be part of his harem. Though, he doesn't mind her personality and outlook towards certain things is troubling. 

"Hope you don't mind bringing me along? I am interested to see what kind of power you possess."

"Of course, in the condition of telling me about the world of Elentear."

"A fair trade, there are only a few things that I've discovered about those worlds."

Caelum may have read through her memories but it was still better to see if she would hide information that would determine if Selene was trustworthy.  Surprisingly, She answered truthfully, giving everything that she knows about the world. 

"It would be better to come with me and show that world."

He could see flashing light in the form of liquid that Caelum could feel the space being manipulated and bypassing a world barrier. Caelum analyzes the sensation compared to Verse Dimensional travel that he does when heading to another world. 

They were subtle to noticeable differences, namely it was easier to travel through a World than just Verse Dimensional Travel. It was bizarre and difficult to explain by mere words alone.

'It does shine a light in spatial magic.'

Caelum gave him more understanding about space and how it compared to merely teleporting to travelling through another world. He pondered how it would feel to travel towards another planet and what the difference is between Verse Dimensional Travel, World Travel and Planet Travel. 

"Welcome to Elentear."

Few moments later, Selene beholds the world of Elentear. Caelum was greeted by various heavenly bodies in its sky and tangible clouds islands that can support multiple people on it, as well as having a vast ocean surrounded by islands. According to Selene, it has a single moon that doesn't wax or wane, so it stays a full moon at all times which gives her more power due to being the Moon Dragon God and consumes moonlight magic energy. The world also has various mountains, a snowy area where snow rises up from the ground and into the sky and a forest.

Caelum noticed the energy within the Elentear.  In comparison to Earthland and Edolas, Elentear is said to have the most overflowing amount of Magic Power and essence. It is said that its Magic Power has expanded so much that it's on the verge of erupting. 

'Still it is meager compared to Aether.'

Selene was looking at his reaction that remained stoic scanning the surroundings. She couldn't help but be more interested than disappointed seeing his reaction.

'I wonder what kind of situation he had been in to remain unfazed by this world.'

Caelum didn't say anything and sat down before the vast magical energy began to churn around him baffling Selene upon seeing the vast and overabundant of the Elentear was being devoured by the single person. They've been mages who are able to utilize the magical energy of Elentear to avoid it from collapsing because of the overflowing magical energy. 

The Energy of Elentear was called Spiria similar to Ethernano and negative energy and emotions that power Curses, is the magical essence that a Mage uses to create Spirit Arts techniques and spells, implied to be stronger than Ethernano in the form of a "power". It's known for parts of Elentear to be rich in Spiria. Only a select few knows about the usage of Spirit Arts.  

Its boundless Spiria seems to begin depleted, shocking Selene knowing that there shouldn't be anything capable of absorbing this vast and dense magical energy.

At this time, Caelum found something strange having within his mind that he took the opportunity and guided Spiria into his mind. The sensation made her fall into deep meditation and he didn't notice how the Magical energy for Spiria was growing slower to the same amount as Earthland.

The fluctuating energy whirling around him while Selen watched intrigued by the rapid growth that Caelum was experiencing. He felt the world vanish only by himself and the world had become one causing the world to react.

'What is this!?'

Selene felt energy that was completely different than anything she had seen before watching over Caelum as he started to release a different temperament than before. 

Crack!

Whoosh!

The hurricane of energy pushes everything while cracking sounds could be heard that soon cause beams of light to shoot into the sky and formulate golden clouds that reach across the world of Elentear. 

[ You have reach Spirit Sea. ]

Caelum found himself in a vast ocean where fluctuating energy that was different than anything that he had seen before was present within this unusual space. He could feel his sense was completely different than before having a more understanding how everything is without even using the [ Divine Heavenly Vision ].

He observed the sea and found images of memories within it that baffled him then realized what the space was. 

'Is this my Sea of Consciousness? How? I haven't even unlocked the [ Eight Great Meridian ]!?'

[ Let me explain, Darling. The reason why you've reached Spiritual Sea even before completely unlocking your "Eight Great Meridian" was all because the energy within the Elentear is a type of Spiritual energy rather than magical that forces you to separate the Body and other aspects completely. Which means that you now have Essence and Body ranks. ] 

'Care to tell me what the Sea of Consciousness is?'

[ Sea of Consciousness is a space that holds a martial artist's spirit, essence and soul. It was the very core of one's being, without it a person would be no different than a vegetable.

In truth, this 'sea' was more like a miniature dimension. As one goes further down the martial road, their spiritual sea would become something akin to a tiny universe, thus it was the sea of thought that became a wide world.

It was found on the brain, where the soul resides. The spiritual sea depended on the brain to exist. It gives one the ability to store all of their knowledge, memories, techniques, and Divine Soul Artifacts. To put simply, this is a world in which everything you've learned would be stored so that even if you somehow die and reincarnate then it is possible that you're able to easily relearn everything. Additionally, you have acquired Spiritual Sense that allows one to see and/or sense everything within a certain radius of their surroundings as long as it is sufficiently powerful. ]

'Is it because my mind is deeply connected to my soul?'

[ That is correct, the better your Sea of Consciousness then your soul would be as well. Though Soul forging still needs a specific way of nurturing than body or essence. ] 

Caelum nodded and decided to pull his mind from his Sea of Consciousness and return to the outside world where Selene was staring at him with a complicated expression.
