Chapter 56 - Soon to be nympho

"Come on Caelum, let's leave before…" 

Alex froze when the door once again clicked and moments later a middle bald middle aged man with a thick beard that had a bad guy atmosphere all written from his face. Caelum wanted to grab an apple to just remove the bitter taste looking at the negative karma that the man had. There wasn't an ounce of remorse from the sin he had committed. It was even worse than the bandits he had killed. 

He noticed how Alex was trembling in front of the middle aged man that was presumably William Bardot, her father. Caelum could feel Alex's emotion fueled by anger and fear that it was amazing she was holding up. 

Caelum didn't want to intervene, letting Alex handle it knowing she wouldn't appreciate him getting involved. 

'Note to self, destroy his business and other connections while exposing the truth. I'll let him taste hell later.' 

He had already stored all the data and evidence regarding his illegal activities. Caelum already set in ruining his life slowly and steadily where he would face damnation. Caelum noticed how she clenched his fist while her father began to speak.

"On top of parading yourself with those disgusting tattoo, you decided to start dressing like a fucking whore now, too?"

"Get out of the way. I have to go."

"Hmm. Where did I go wrong with you…? I gave you everything you wanted, provided for all your needs, and now this is how you repay me. By humiliating me every day? Being an utter disgrace to the family name?"

"I've been paying for everything myself."

"Oh really? Are you paying for the rent? Your tuition? All your meals? You really think you'd make enough money to survive by selling your filthy cunt on the street corner? You have no idea how the real world works, Alexandra."

"...I work as a waitress."

She weakly said trembling in fear while Caelum remained calm waiting for the opportunity to intervene. Her father seemed to scoff at her words.

"You're pathetic. Why can't you be like axel?"

"...J-Just let me through the door."

"You should not have been born."

"...please, let me…"

Her father was about to slap her when Caelum decided to act and stop him from doing anything by grabbing his hand that was about to slap Alex before flaring his aura causing the middle aged man to tremble. Alex was dumbfounded looking at his back grabbing her father who has his knees on the ground. 

"Y-You! Who are you and how dare you touch me!! Do you have any idea who I am?"

"Father likes son huh?"

"WHAT TELL ME YOUR NAME!!"

Alex couldn't take anymore and stormed off from the apartment while Caelum shook his head then returned his attention to the trash who started to stand up.

"If I told you my name then perhaps you'll reconsider your life choices, Mr.bardot."

"Ah! You think that I won't make your life a living hell?? I have the power to do everything and even if you don't tell me I'll eventually find out who you are and make you regret what you had done today!"

"Tch tch. Let me say the same thing, do you think I won't make your life a living hell?" 

"You're just some random kid that pay my daughter fuck her."

"You think I'm bluffing?"

"Hey are we doing this or not? I thought you have business to attend to."

"...you know what. You're not worth it. Get out of my sight."

Caelum shook his head and decided to check up on Alex while he called a few of his employees and business that he had opened a month ago. He has numerous connections yet remains anonymous with an alias of "Silver". 

He removes the Bardot connection and kills every associate that was in a list of people that are better off dead. In addition, Caelum used his influence within the Eternum company to remove his partnership knowing the scandal was about to happen. It would take at least a month to finish everything but Bardot would start scratching his head by that time. 

Few seconds later, Caelum arrived at the parking lot where Alex was. He went closer calling her name when surprisingly hugged him rather tightly. She may appear strong and independent but no one can truly be alone and need a person to lean on. 

He hugged back yet remained silent feeling her emotion flowing through his heart. The thing he learned about the [ Harem Parameter ] is that it won't just randomly add women instead those who have strong fate. Caelum finds her vulnerable self to be the true Alexandra wanting someone to be there for her. Soon enough, she pushes him, still anxious about everything. 

"Sorry…I don't know…I don't know what came over me."

"It's fine, I'm more worried about you than anything else. You alright?"

"Don't worry. I'm already using it, I just need to get through four week then I'll get out of that hell hole. It's a good thing you didn't say your name or he'll ruin your life."

"Can I help you with anything? I know I'm hardly your friend but I can't just leave without doing anything."

"No, you've done enough. You should leave. Your house is pretty far and it's getting late. I'll see you tomorrow regarding our raid."

"Alright….Take care, Alexandra. You already know I'm stubborn so if there's anything that you need me then I'll do my best to help you."

"Alex."

"Uh?"

"Call me Alex. My father calls me Alexandra. I hate it."

"Hehehe guess I finally earned a spot in your exclusive cool club?"

"Don't get it into your head. I just thought you're…bearable."

"Hearing that from you then I did something good."

"You did. Thank you for everything. I mean it."

Caelum saw her start to leave and decided to head home as well. He recalled his jacket was still at her place but decided to let it go and ask her about it later. Meanwhile, Alex returned back home alone with the sunset light illuminating her skin. She sat on the couch looking at the side, recalling her childhood when her grandmother was still alive.

The time they've spent together and how much she is there for her. Alex smiled fondly from the memories of the moment the cross was given to her. She remembers how her grandmother told him about her prince that one day would be by her side. 

'Huh?"

Alex then notice something and move closer to find a bomber jacket that Caelum had left. She intently looked at the jacket while recalling how he shielded her from her father. 

'That dumbass forgot his jacket…'

The young woman grabbed the jacket and felt compelled to wear it. She looked around trying to see if there was anyone and surprisingly wore the jacket. A warmth feeling like how he hugged her resurface. For the first in a long time she felt like someone was there for her.

Caelum who was walking away from her apartment glanced before chuckling and headed back home.

During the conversation with Nancy and Yoga instructions. She wanted to ask for advice regarding her forbidden feelings towards her nephew. Caelum was watching and listening to their conversation. 

"Ah, I want to ask you something."

"Really!? G-Go ahead."

"Well…you always say that you're both a physical and spiritual guide, right?"

"Of course!"

"Well, I was hoping you could give me some advice. Lately, I've been finding myself so distracted by a little dilemma that I'm having. I almost feel as if it's consuming me…"

"Dilemma? Go on…"

"Uhmm..god, this is a little embarrassing…you know, I've been single for a long time."

"Yes?"

"And I've always thought I was doing just fine on my own but….T-There's this…man…that had been turning my life around. I don't know why, but every time I see him my heart starts beating like crazy. I get butterflies in my stomach. I just…can't stop fantasizing about him."

Caelum who was listening, making mental notes to edge her and finally have his way with her. He already gave up his morals and just let things go knowing that it would hurt them if he didn't take them. 

"He makes me feel so…alive! So young! So beautiful!"

The yoga instructor cried out thinking he's the one she's talking about, making Caelum laugh while watching the two. 

"But the thing is…I can't be with him. It would be…weird. We're not supposed to be together…like that and even if I tried to make a move, I don't know if he'd want to be with me."

"What!? That's absurd!! You're a Goddess, Nancy! You're a modern day aphrodite!"

"But even if he wanted me too…and he felt the same way, what would other people think? What would my daughter think of me?"

"Your daughter? I've seen Dalia a few times in the fitness room. I know she'll definitely approve!"

"I don't know…to be completely frank with you. I…I just get so horny whenever I think of him. And whenever I'm around him! I can't seem to control it!

Cereza, who had been listening along with Caelum throughout the conversation, couldn't hold it anymore and burst out laughing. Caelum was laughing and left the yoga class.

At the current time, Caelum heads back home where his mother welcomes him still trying to her desire for him while he is just eager to take Nancy. 

"Welcome home, Caelum! How was your day?" 

"Never been better. How about you? Did you and Aunt Nancy enjoy the meal at the restaurant?"

"Well it was great but I'm not a vegan person."

"Maybe we can do some BBQ some other time? I mean I haven't spent much time with you and I won't take a no for an answer."

'He's acting normal like nothing happened….has everything that happened was only in my mind? That has to be!'

She thought being both disappointed and relieved yet knew that it was real for sure. Celine just wasn't ready compared to her sister since she had been building up stress and frustration that now needed to be relieved unlike her who only awoken from coma a month or so ago.

"I…Are you sure? Don't you have a strict schedule?"

"We can do the steak thing on Friday evening. All of us, including Mary." 

"...Fine. just don't try to push yourself like before."

"I know, thank you. Anyway, I'm gonna take a shower first."
