Chapter Twenty-Nine

The next morning Mira had woken up alone, and to the sound of banging on her door. Looking around trying to find some sign of Cyro, she slowly got out of bed. She could feel her pillow was still a bit damp from crying. She didn't want anything to do with today, and she definitely didn't want to face Cyro or Vilen. She pulled the door open, not caring about how much of a mess she looked. Frazen, the fox she had met the other day, now stood before. He motioned for her to follow, and she didn't question him either. They did pass by the dining hall. She tried to catch a glimpse of Cyro there, but he was no where to be seen. She didn't wish to run into him looking like this. They walked to the front door and outside. He led her down the street where the bustle of foxes all stopped to stare at her. She immediately wanted to hide from the prying eyes. A few sneered, some hid their mates behind them, others tried to touch her. She now understood Cyro's need to keep her inside. The tangerine tribe didn't seem to be very friendly. She looked up at the sky hoping to get a hint of what time it was.

The sun was in the middle of the sky, so she guessed it was a little past noon. As they got closer to a tall building, she could see another beast man she's never seen before. His white fur was so bright and beautiful against all the oranges and red. He wore a thin blue cloth around his waist, which also came up and draped over his shoulder. Next to him was a beast man in the same type of cloth, but his fur was pitch black. His cloth was grey, instead of blue. They were wolves, and from the assorted colors they wore she guessed they were of different tribes. They turned around gazing at her as they came even closer. Vilen, Alzie, and Cyro all standing behind them. Her heart nearly stopped when her and Cyro met each other's gaze. He looked completely fine, as if nothing had ever even happened. She quickly looked down at the ground as she came to a stop in front of all of them. She couldn't handle the pain she saw in Cyro's eyes, those beautiful unique eyes.

"Mira, this is Inigo. He is of the silver tribe." She looked up and followed Vilen's hand to the Black wolf. He bowed his head to her flashing silver eyes at her. "And this is Kylo, of the Ivory tribe." The white wolf smiled and took her hand in his, touching his muzzle to her hand. His eyes showed a deep and royal blue.

She heart skipped a beat at both wolves. If they continued to show up with beautiful furs and eyes, she didn't know what she would do. Wolves have been one of her favorite animals for a long time. Her top favorite were bats. She looked back at Cyro, a hint of jealousy glimmering in his eyes. She liked how it made her feel like he did still care for her. She pushed past the beast men and walked straight into the building. Whatever happened next wasn't going to be her decision, her heart has taken enough emotional stress. She waited for them all to follow her in and lead her to their designated spot. She didn't pay attention to what was being said. Just stared at the floor while following them. Their tails and feet being the only things in her line of view. Not even a full two weeks here yet and already she has felt so much emotion. For once she wanted to feel nothing, not a single shred of emotion.

She looked up at the sound of a door opening. They were in what looked like some sort of thirteen hundreds hospital room clashed with the forest took over ruins. It was really strange to see, especially because it looked so clean and sanitary. Without waiting instructions, she moved to the bed and began removing her dress. Might as well get it over with right. He wants to know if she's fertile and if it could be passed on to them then fine. Perhaps the results will be different since they are beasts and not human. She picked her dress up and folded as she sat down on the bed. When she looked up every one of them had a look of utter shock on their faces. She couldn't help but giggle a little as they all looked pretty funny. Cyro though looked the cutest as his face seemed to be more lustful and shyer than shocked. She didn't know if it was due to her declining mental health that she was able to do this, or just being tired from crying all night.

"Might as well get it over with." She just sat there as stared at them as she waited for one of them to speak.

"Uh, y-yes." Vilen seemed to be the most shocked as he stumbled over the papers in his hand. "First we need to do a physical examination." The sound of Cyro as he moved next to her started the others. "Cyro come off of it will you, were all adults here."

"I hope I don't need to remind you of your place, Cyro." Alzie spoke and for the first time in a long time seemed to make eye contact with Cyro.

"Right, so what do you wish to examine first?" Mira tried to appear as none of it bothered her, but the longer she was exposed the more aware she was about the stares.

Only Frazen seemed to be completely unphased. He just stood off to the side, a look of boredom clouding his face. She did catch him and Alzie staring at each other from time to time over the past few days. She didn't want to make assumptions, but she had a sneaky suspicion that she wasn't his type. Honestly, she shouldn't be any of their type, but hey she didn't think she'd be here. Cyro placed his hand on her shoulder as Vilen began examining her chest first. Her cheeks growing hot red as his soft paws touched her. Her nipples seemed to almost immediately respond, making her slightly pull away. Instead, she tried to focus on her home and only looking down at her lap. It took a lot of concentration to keep her body from further humiliating her. He moved to examine her stomach arms and legs. No doubt leaving the worst part for last. He stood and began writing on his papers, walking away, and grabbing a needle.

She took in a sharp inhale as he neared her, she hated needles. Feared them. She couldn't explain why she just did. Cyro moved closer to her, placing both hands on her shoulders and giving them a light squeeze. She was sure he was only acting this way to try to tell the others to back off. She was thankful for it though, as it helped calm her and comfort her. A hiss of her own escaped her lips as the needle pierced her skin. She couldn't help but to look away as well, closing her eyes. When she looked back at the needle, she watched as her blood filled it up. Hopefully that's all the blood they would need. He removed the needle and cleaned her arm. He seemed to genuinely care as he wrapped the spot where the needle has once been, taking care to not wrap too tight.

"I won't make you spread your legs in front of everyone." His voice was gentle and quiet, a nice change indeed. "So, I will make them leave if you wish."

"Yes, please." She didn't want all of them to see her, but she didn't want to be alone with him either. She turned and looked at Frazen. "But I want him to stay." She looked at Cyro and touched his hand. "Don't worry, I'm not his type."

Cyro nodded and left with the others. Frazen just stayed standing where he was not caring, same expression as before. She slowly laid back and pretended like she was at the gynecologist's office. She had to close her eyes the minute his paws touched her. For a second, she wondered why she even agreed to do this.
