Early the next morning.
Eira knelt by the bed, her small, delicate hands gently nudging the sleeping Fang Hao.
"Master, it's time to get up. Didn't you say you had something to do today?"
Hearing her voice, Fang Hao's eyes snapped open. His brain was still in a standby state, taking a moment before it kicked into gear.
*Right, today was the forced mission. He had asked Eira to wake him early.*
Sitting up in bed, he asked softly, "Eira, how did you get in?"
Usually, Eira would knock on the door and never barge into Fang Hao's room directly.
"Master, I knocked, but you wouldn't wake up. I was afraid you'd be delayed today, so I came in," Eira explained pitifully.
*He must have slept too late yesterday and missed the knocking.*
"Right, there's something important today." Fang Hao stretched his limbs, trying to fully wake himself up.
Eira quickly helped Fang Hao get dressed. After a simple wash, he stepped out of the wooden lord's cabin.
