Chapter Nine

Early in the morning of the second day of the week, Zev was awakened by the loud noise of the alarm clock. She stood up and stretched her body, then open the window to feel the morning breeze. It was a beautiful Monday morning. There was no hint of rain in the sky and a slight October breeze played with Cassia Fistula leaves. She loved to witness the art of Sunrise. She knows that everyone loves it.

Eight-thirty in the morning at handa na si Zev for her morning class. Sinabihan na niya kahapon ang kaibigang si Reese tungkol sa klase niya nang mag suhetisyon itong umakyat sila ng bundok. Naintindihan naman siya ng binata at nagsuhetisyon itong ihahatid siya nito sa unibersidad.

Nasa labas na siya at nakita niya agad ang pamilyar na kotse ni Reese, maya maya ay lumabas ito. He's wearing a simple white T-shirt and black pants. He was very manly and his handsomeness stood out even though the man just turned his back on her.

"Buenas dias mi futuro Medico (Good morning my future Doctor)" He greeted her.

"Buenos Dias. (Good morning)" she greeted him back.

"You look so beautiful today." He smiled. The repetition of his words thundered in her mind. It draws a two-red apple in her cheeks. "By the way tinawag mo akong RK kanina. I love it." Dagdag nito kasabay ng pagkagat nito sa lower nito.

"Thanks for the compliment." She said. Saka ipinaliwanag ang inimbentong pangalan. "Reese kid kasi 'yun. What'ya say." she chukled.

"Lard-ass. But I love it. RK, RK." He smiled then went on "Saka hindi compliment yung sinabi ko kanina. Ang ganda mo kaya." He was telling her the truth.

She's a goddess.

"Tayo na ma-late pa ako. Tsaka may bago kaming Professor sa surgery na subject." Sabi niyang iniba ang paksa. Pero ang pagpuri nito sa kaniya, ewan kung puri ba o totoo ang sinabi nito, ay nagdudulot ng kakaibang kilig sa kaniya. Pero alam naman ng dalaga sa sarili na maganda siya.

"Oh, tara na." anitong inaalayan siyang pumasok sa passenger side ng kotse.

Habang nagbibiyahe ay pasekretong sumulyap siya kay Reese, ang guwapo talaga nito. Hindi niya alam kung ilang babae o bakla na ang napa-ibig nito pero hindi nito iniibig. Pero mukhang hindi naman ito pa-fall.

Hindi katulad ito ng mga ibang lalaki na kilala niya, na kahit maputi lang at matangkad o matangos ang ilong ay nagmamayabang na. No, Reese was very different he's handsome with a heart.

He's gentle at ayaw na lang niya mag-talk when it comes to Reese sexual appeal. Talagang high ang sexual appeal ng binata. Isang titig pa lang nito ay nararamdaman mo nang nasa kama ka na kasama siya. His eyes were sparkling and she love the moustache under his lower lip also.

ANG IMAHE ni Reese ang naglalaro sa utak ni Zev kahit nasa loob na siya ng room nila. He's always present in her thought.

"Your turn Ms.-" Her Professor said pointing his finger at her. But Zev seems heard nothing. She only keeps on imagining things. She was shocked when Collen slapped her lightly on her shoulder. She looked at her full of protest. Collen's eyes pointed to the Professor who had been looking at Zev from second to seconds. She smiled at him, Zev's eyes were sparkling like diamonds.

"Your turn to introduce your name," Collen whispered.

Zev stood up and Introduced her name "I'm sorry, Me Illamo Zev Aiden Foxleif Polavieja I am half Filipino and half Spanish. But I am proud Filipina." Birheng perlas ng silangan.

"Bakit mo naisipang mag-transfer dito?" tanong ni Camille ang kaklase niyang handang gawin ang lahat para lang makipagkompetensiya ito sa kaniya.

Who cares for transferee like me. Please stop asking why I transferred here. Is it forbidden? She whispered disgustingly to herself. Saka noong second-year naman iyon noong nag-transfer siya sa Sa Bezos IU from the University of Madrid.

"My choice," she said a thousand times. Naiinis na talaga siya kay Camille, kahit wala siyang balak makipag-kompetensiya ay kusang isiniksik nito ang sarili sa lugar niya. How pathetic. She's trying hard. Pero wala siyang paki-alam dito.

"Okay, our lesson today is about Plastic Surgery." The Professor began. Zev, as usual, finds no interest in the said lesson, she finds no interest in everything not even in a single thing except to her growing feelings for Reese. The one she keeps in her heart. She was sitting near the window, so she was free to look down at the oval of the school.

Ang mga nagkagulong estudyante sa ibaba ang umagaw sa atensiyon ng dalaga, tiningnan niya ito ng mabuti.

Nakita niyang may pinagkaguluhang guwapong lalaki ang mga ito, they're very interested. Whoever the guy was ay wala siyang paki-alam. Kahit Heartthrob o Cupido pa ito ng Bezos IU. Naiinis siya sa mga babaeng estudyanteng 'yon, na nagpapa-picture sa lalaking pinagkakaguluhan nila.

Who cares she said. Halata namang mga old fashioned ang mga ito. Well, they're just attracted to some damn fucking guy the other part of her mind protest.

"I'm not interested whoever that asshole was," aniyang napalakas ang pagkasabi niyon.

Everyone looked at her, her eyes met their eyes. She avoids their gaze by looking down again. Now, that school security guards have stopped the girls na pilit lumapit sa lalaki. He looks like an actor, a celebrity, or sikat na tao.

"What beautiful scene captured your attention down Ms. Polavieja?" The Professor asked and added quickly. "You even not pay attention in my class. Does something bother your mind?"

She did not answer. She was not interested. But she had to be polite, so she just apologized to her Professor.

"Ah, holiest, do you have something intelligent to add here.."

"Perdon!"

"What did you expect to say? Your mind is somewhere else!" He shrugged, then he added quickly. "What's plastic surgery?"

She stood up and said. "Plastic surgery is the branch of surgery concerned with the correction of Physical deformities and disfigurement caused by birth defects, injuries, or diseases. It is also known as reconstructive surgery. Examples of such operations include the rebuilding of lost or deformed ears, noses, or jaws, the repair of cleft lip or cleft palate; the reconstruction of a breast after mastectomy, and many more. Some examples field of plastic surgery are Transplantation, and aesthetic or cosmetic surgery, the common types of aesthetic surgery include rhinoplasty, otoplasty, blepharoplasty, and rhytidectomy I think Sir will give a further explanation about it later."

Alam niyang okay na iyon at hindi na niya kailangan i-broad ang idea niya. That was exactly Idiot with a brain would say. Kahit hindi pa sinabi ng professor niya na pwede na siyang umupo ay kusang umupo si Zev. A while later Zev excused herself to go to the comfort room.

Inside the comfort room, he heard two students talking about the visitor of the University ang gu-gwapo raw nito at parang Hollywood actor ang lalaki.

He captured the hearts of the fool girls. Pero mukhang super interested ang mga babae sa lalaking bisita ng university. Na-curious na siya at gusto niyang malaman kung sino ang pinag-uusapan nila.
