A Fateful Encounter

[Jisoo POV]

We had arrived at the MAMA a bit late but there were still other's missing so we felt relieved and went to our seats. A few minutes after we arrived Zenith arrived and I noticed everyone admiring them, especially that Park Jin Woo guy who's name troubles me because it reminds me of a bad memory of my past that I want to forget so I just ignored them and continued to watch the performances and waited for the awards. We had gotten nominated for the rookie of the year award and female artist of the year but we lost the first to Zenith which didn't really shock us as we knew that those guys basically took over all the music charts so it was to be expected and the female artist award went to Girls Generation who are also big so we weren't really down and was about to leave when the intro for Zenith's performance started playing.

Everyone who was going to leave sat back down because it was interesting, almost like movie but not at the same time and soon they started singing, they hyped up the tiring atmosphere and approached all of us and started dancing, Lisa kept dancing next to me and kept on pulling me to dance which I wasn't in the mood to so I just sat back down on my seat and watched when all of a sudden an earing fell on my lap from the top of the stage infront of us, it was in the shape of a star and when I looked at it I felt its fermiliar so I kept examining it for a while.

"Why does it seem like I know thi-..... No it can't be, he disappeared when we were kids and nobody heard any news about where he was for years, even when I looked I couldn't find anything..."

"This earing was from a pair earings my father's close friend, who was also my best friend's father had gifted me.. It came in a set with a pair of earrings and a necklace that I still keep safely at home, as for the earrings I had given it to my childhood friend as a token of our friendship when he was 8, the same age as me at that time. I was very close with him until one day my father received the news that his parents had passed away and he wasn't with them so he had probably been living with a relative abroad, my heart broke that day because my friend whom I had know since I was a baby had just disappeared over night without any goodbyes, so I still looked for him for years to find some sort of closure up until recently when my father forced me to stop and told me to move on.... But how could this guy have these earrings..it can't be..It could just be similar yea I'm just over thinking things again....But they even have the same name. No I can't just assume it's him, he would of found me if he was back, I'll just have to find out for myself" I thought to myself and clutched the earing tightly watching the rest of the performance staring at this Park Jin Woo infront of me trying to see if he's really the one I had been searching for all this time and I got nothing as the resemblance was too hard to find because most kids change as they get older so I lost hope on finding anything based on looks.

"Jisoo what are you thinking about, let's go the shows over" said Rose who broke me out of my thoughts and I realized that they were gone so I got up quickly and ran backstage to ask him about the earing but they were gone when I arrived and only their manager was there taking all their equipment away so I just handed it to him and left with a heavy heart wondering when I'll ever get the chance to meet him again as we're always so busy especially now that we're rookies *sigh* I hope I find an answer.... "Just who are you Park Jin Woo?".....
