Uninvited Guest

"Hai Babe!" Dustin smiles, looking at Rose's shocking face. "Why are you looking at me like you saw a ghost?" He laughed while pinching her cheeks gently. Making Rose flinch. She immediately stepped back and held her cheek while glaring at him. She felt nauseous because of this bastard's touch.

"What are you doing here, Dustin?" She was annoyed when Dustin came to her house uninvited.

"Wow! Babe…you are indeed different!" His brow furrowed as he looked at Rose more closely.

He continued his words after not receiving any reply from Rose instead of glaring like she wanted to skin him alive. "You look different from Rose, I know. Why do you change a lot, babe? Before you never raised your voice and glared at me like this…are you really Rose Wilson, the nice and sweet girl I know?" Dustin took a step forward to stroke Rose's hair but Rose pushed him so hard that he almost fell.

"Rose!?"

Rose clenched her fists in frustration. However, she refrained from showing disgust to Dustin, or he would become seriously suspicious of her.

After pushing Dustin away from the door, Rose immediately steps forward and closes the door behind her. She can't let this asshole enter her house. What's more, Evan will come soon, he could misunderstand if he saw Dustin in her home.

"Dustin! Tell me, what do you want? This is the first time you have come knocking on my house without notice? Is there something important you want to talk to me about?" She asked impatiently.

"You don't even want me to come into your house?" Dustin asks while creasing his brow in shock because Rose pushes him away and does not allow him to enter her house.

"I'm sorry… I can't let you in. No one is in the house. My mother is away.…." Rose uses her mother as an excuse to get Dustin to believe in her. "You know my mother, right? She taught me not to accept a man visiting my house if I'm alone…." Rose smirked forcedly. "We can sit over there…." Rose pointed to the seating area in the outdoor garden, near the stairs.

After sitting opposite each other, Rose tried to calm her mind so she could contain her emotions that were now ready to explode. She didn't want to show her anger because, after all, it was younger Dustin who was in front of her, not old Dustin, who killed her. But she is trying to avoid him as much as possible. She didn't want to have anything to do with this bastard anymore.

"Rose...you look changed since yesterday. What's wrong?" Dustin can't help but ask. Since last night he couldn't sleep because his thoughts of Rose were no longer the same as the Rose he knew. She always replies in a flash to short messages he sends. She also would call him in the morning to ask if he had breakfast? She changed a lot.

Now, he is even more afraid of losing her. His fear starts when he sees her kiss, Evan Collins. He was worried to imagine that Rose and Evan were now a couple. All the way from his house to Rose's, he convinced himself that Rose just wanted to make him jealous.

"Did I?" Rose panicked a little because Dustin was suspicious of her change in attitude.

"Yup! Why?" Dustin brought his head closer. Trying to look closer at Rose's face. His action made Rose uncomfortable. She pulled back, trying to get away from him.

"I'm not! I'm still the same. It was you who changed!" Dustin knit his brown, confused by her words. "This is the first time you came up here, Dustin. Why did you come?" Rose didn't want to linger with Dustin. She didn't want Evan to meet him.

"Because there's something important I want to tell you, Rose…." Dustin smiles while crossing his legs and casually leans back on the chair.

"Dustin, I can't chat with you for long. I still have a lot to do in my house...so you better say it now!"

Dustin was taken aback by Rose's words. She has indeed changed so much!

Why does she seem to hate me so much? Did I do something to make her angry like this?

He feels like his head is hurt just thinking about it all. Silently he took a deep sigh while staring at her beautiful hazel eyes, which used to always sparkle when he saw them. Those sparkles are no longer visible, replaced with an unfriendly glare.

"I Love You, Rose! Be my girlfriend…." Dustin finally told her what he wanted to say. He tried to tell her all night, but her cell phone was out of reach. He had no choice but to come here and say it directly.

Rose was stunned to hear Dustin's confession.

Instantly, she wanted to laugh because it felt too funny. Still, clearly in her mind, this lowly asshole making out with Emily the slut, now, he expresses his love to her?

What a joke!

She would not give this filthy man a chance.

"Babe… you should answer it now." Dustin smiles, looking at Rose, who seems mesmerized by him. He felt happy. Because Rose is fascinated and wavered by his sudden confession.

He knows it. Rose's change of attitude towards him was only a form of protest. He could already guess that Rose's closeness to Evan is because Rose just wanted to make him jealous.

"Damn it, Rose! No need to do that. I already wanted to express my love for you after our success in the singing audition." He said in his heart.

A faint smile appeared on Dustin's face while waiting for his girl to say something...

"Dustin…" Rose's soft voice made Dustin even happier. He smiled sweetly while looking into her beautiful hazel eyes. "I'm sorry Dustin, I can't accept your love..." Rose stopped her words because suddenly she saw Dustin laugh.

Has he lost his mind now?

It felt like Rose wanted to throw this shameless man with her slippers.
